Having trouble creating character

Whenever i try to create my character it starts out fine but i end up waiting hours on end. I just gave up after waiting four hours! I really want to try out the metaverse but am unable to do so . Any help would be appreciated.

I would wager that by 'waiting hours on end' you're referring to the 'Processing Data' window that appears when you attempt to create a character.

If that is indeed the case, then I would guess that you're running an older version of firefox or opera. The metaverse does not support opera. If you're using firefox, you should make sure that you're using the latest version.
