Ouch! Well, that will teach all the people who went out and got MOO3 before it was properly reviewed. (Which unfortunately includes me)

OMG they have worked on this game for 3 years and they could'nt even get the A.I to invade, which really makes the single playergame pointless. :sniff!:

I've been playing the game, in my free time, since the 26th and as all the minor and major annoyances added up I came to a realization.

The developers really didn't seem to care about the single player experience.

Many of the stupid, stupid things the game does wouldn't be issues if you were playing against a human opponent. For me that pretty much ruins the game because I have no interest in the multi-player aspect.

The MOO AI can invade planets but only LATE game and you basicly have to open the door for them. I was getting WAY bored with fighting the mini fleets that they sent every turn to this one planet they Especially seemed to want. so I basicly abandoned the planet and waited and waited and WAITED. somwhere around turn 490 they finally did a ground invasion, and lost to the tiny army my vicroy had built. MOO 3 has to be one of the worst games I bought in the last few years. I am counting down the days for Gal Civ and have returned to playing my Beta Gal Civ while MOO3 set a record for a game being dumped in my reject box.
