Give Me a Revolution

Pissing on Iraqi's or How We wanna Help--It's a poem

give me a revolution
any day
why stop the madness
it only increases itself
I read the online
dribble
and it hurt
hurt bad
more of that crap with
flowers and
pretensions so large
as to
cover the sky
in pink and mad
blues
cotton candy
fluff
to
rot our
teeth
mother
she weeps for lost
love
boxed wrapped
like a gift
red
white
fucking blue
father
he cries daffodils over the
betrayal of
heart
Iraqi soldier
naked
humiliated
piled a top of
flesh
his little girl
smiling with glee
and all I want to do is
drink
knob creek
and blow dope
and throw lit matches
into your
hair

I'm not sure what you mean, but this is a heluva a poem. Write. Don't stop. Let the bug bite deep and drink dry all but the husk of meaning that is real and full of bitter recollection, the sweet dregs of what might, on any given night, be the last stupid sigh of indifference we draw.

Thank you, I think.
