Windows not skinning untill maximised.

Very annoying, need help!

Ok, so I installed WindowBlinds about a month ago, and since then, I have had a persisting issue with skinning.

When I open an application such as Firefox, or Guild Wars, the window does not skin until I maximize and restore the window. And if any of the windows start maximized already, that window is screwed because I haven't found a way to fix it.

This is an example of what I am talking about.

As you can see, the border itself is non-existent, and the title bar is the classic theme. This is with Eminence.

I have tested it with other skins, provided by default. Same results.

My stats:
WindowBlinds version : WindowBlinds 5 (5.51 (build 97 x86))

WindowBlinds is installed correctly on this PC

WindowBlinds appears to be activated on this PC

Your machine supports per pixel borders on WindowBlinds skins.

I hope there is a fix for this, as a month of max/restor just to get the skin to apply is more then likely helping along some carpel tunnel.

I joke, but it is quite annoying. Help?

May be a bad install. Have you tried uninstalling / re-installing? Is this a stand alone or was it installed by Stardock Central?

looks like it might be a standalone - dates are different than SDC's

It was originally a stand alone, then I let SDC install WB6 (and uninstall WB5 I believe) But had the same problem. I thin uninstalled as completely as I could and re installed, and same problem.

I will re uninstall it now though, and make sure to delete the folder in Program Files.

Just a thought, would running IconX cause this in any way? Or installing it? I believe I have had this problem with IconX unloaded....

Nope. I uninstalled, restarted, installed with SDC, restarted, and it still does this.

Just in case the files have changed:

No solutions?.... It may just come to the point that I can't use it. Sometimes it doesn't write anything to the video card and I have to estimate where the control buttons are. For things like web browser windows, it's not too big a deal, but for windows that can't be easily gotten to, or word documents.....
