Where are the Transports?

I have the Yor on the ropes after they declared war on me

, but I don't have the option yet to build transports so I can conquer their planets. Is there a way to speed this up? Or do I need some specific technology?

ok, but under what base technology is that? Like phasers lead to battleships eventually.

The path to get to Transports is Propulsion/Cold Fusion/Impulse Drive.

And when you get Battleships that also gives you Combat Transports (big versions that carry 5M and have defenses)
