If the squirrels are training with light sabers, shit is gonna get really, really bad here in Hogtown. The university campus here breeds the most brazen squirrels imaginable--the little rotters will sidle right up to you on a bench and steal food if you don't pay them off with food. They're really fat, though, so maybe they won't get all that good with the light sabers.

I don't want to think about how my tax dollars have sometimes helped to kill innocent civilians and devastate local economies around the world, but those things have been happening since World War II.

At least the cats can plead nonsentience, or could if they were sentient. But then I sometimes wonder if humans have managed to both define sentience and fail to establish it as a defining trait of our species.
