Banned because while I would not want to have a colonoscopy (and probably won't- by the time I'm in my 50s pill cameras will be fully implemented), the idea of another person having one doesn't give me the creeps the way stitches do.

Banned because I'm glad I've never needed stitches, and getting cut on purpose is freakier to me than being sewn up, regardless of how the cut happened.

Banned because my paternal uncles have a bunch of head injuries amongst them, the most dramatic one being during a family reunion, when one uncle had the best sled run of the night and found a buried barbed-wire fence with his face.

Fortunately, there were some ski resorts nearby so the local hospital had a decent plastic surgeon on call.
