Banned for harshing on my 14-year-old mellow! (even if I'm too smart for my own good, I like to have fun once in a while)

Banned for knowing how much you need to recover... I heard (from my white trash/ redneck cousins) that a (or two) 8-oz. glasses will prevent the worst of a hangover... or is this bogus?

I don't think I'm smarter than the rest of you! Just that my IQ is actually higher than most (if not all) of the seniors in my school.

EDIT\\ Oh, and if you're soo smart, Harpo: answer this for me. I've spent about 1/5 of my free time trying to figure out the right move to make, but the best thing I can think of is to wait until the girl who likes me loses interest and dumps me, so I can stay friends with my crush. Here's the scenario:

My crush is in my art class, and (since we're friends) talks to me about her problems (and, as I have a crush on her, I try to do everything I can to help her with school issues, at home I can't do anything)... well, she's both talked to me about how things are going with her best friend, AND talks to me about the boys she likes and her issues/fun with them It;s like I'm another one of her girl-friends!

*sigh*... OH! Have I mentioned that I have had a crush on this girl since 5th GRADE! (That's 5 YEARS)

My romantic life= epic FAIL

Banned for not remembering this is the 21st century now. Things are going to be different.

Also, banned for... what? So, I'm just supposed to walk away from the girl of my dreams, lose my friendship with her and all her friends, and just tell the girl who has a crush on me (who is my oldest friend, ever since 4th grade I've known her) that I lied straight up to her face and that I actually like her best friend?

I've passed to point of no return, now I just have to choose which fork in the road to walk...

I dunno why, but recently I've gotten the feeling that my actions NOW will decide my Destiny...

Sorry I kinda lost my cool in those last few posts. I'm better now.

Anyway, not that you'll read this, Ryat, but...

I'm beginning to see how different we really are, and how much we could learn from each other because of this. "Nothing new under the Sun?" Last time I checked, the Doomsday Clock was WAY farther away from it's current position (it's either 5 or below right now...) in the 20th century. You may have had girls of your dreams as well, but this one I've liked for 5 years... I think I might be falling for her, but I can't check with anyone without my cover being blown. You and I also appear to have very different life experiences. I have been to at least 1/2 of the country, and made friends in about 4-5 different places now. Since my dad is in the Army, whenever I start to feel truly attatched to someone, we move. My mom has been trying to get us a permanent home in our birthplace (we've all been born in PA), so I've lived here and moved away 3 times now. Anyway, for me, friends are people who I want to keep as close as possible, and only lose if I absolutely have to. I'll do anything for their well-being, even lie or hurt others for their protection.

Srry about the rant, it's just something I needed to clear the air with.

Banned for taking your experience and applying it to a situation which calls for, not life experience, but emotional experience.
