Banned for not realizing that "cool" is just a state of human pschology, and that the only reason ppl are cool is because others let them be.

banned for not realizing that I have had similar life experiences

once had a crush on a girl for over 7 years, even though she liked other guys

admittedly have only seen a 1/3 of the country but have been to many places and have friends in many of those places as well.

And have found that lying to or for friends usually ends up you being friendless

also know what it is like to have a higher IQ than any one else, only one of my friends had his higher by five points. He quit half way through and is not very successful.

and one last thing, life experience is emotional experience

My ban was crappy, but I wasted all my good ranting in the paragraph.

This girl... how'd that work out for you? (I'd have to guess that you gave up on her, right?)

How so? Me personally, I see the truth as a dangerous and fragile thing, which is often causes more harm that lying does. (But, that's just me)

Meh, I'm just gonna live life to the fullest while there's still some knots to untangle...

well, we started to date finally and then........she changed her mind and ran off with another guy

dated other girls, nothing ever came of it until I met my wife about seven years ago, and we just hit it off. The best thing about it is that I never had to lie or present myself as someone else.

truth is like a glass sword, when used properly can be powerful, and not used properly or treated poorly (as in lying) it shatters and cuts. But it is hard to use and must be used with caution and treated with respect, but it can cut through those tangles, much like Alexander did with the Gordian Knot.

Way to get philosophical about it.

Is the "best thing about it" part supposed to be about me and my current crush? Or was that unintentional? Either way, with her I try to be the most honest I can (for example, last year I let it slip that I was going to buy somebody a valentine's rose, but that I chickened out at the last second while she was in earshot... she approaches me at the end of the day and asks me who it was, to which I blush, and run away ).

Banned for letting this drag on too long, let's change the subject. (I know I started it, but this is getting a little too intricate for my taste)
