Ya.  That said, he's one of 3 i would have chosen.

Lelouch or Zero (Taken)

Suzaku  (Not my favorite, but taken now.  His character seems flawed to me.  He's TOO good to be realistic.)

Jin-Kei  (Late-series, but he is a new Ace-Pilot from China, who is the only person to defeat, and subsequently capture Kallen.)
