Any girls here?

Any girls here?

I hope I'm not the only one D:

Just a quick question... are there any girls here? I see girly icons but I'm still unsure. D:

Oh? You'd think that after the fourth sex change, it would sort of.... stop being as effective.....

Almost pornpics, lipsticks, tattooes... getting outa of hands, are we?

To think that all it took was the word "Girls" to open the usual pandora box of subtle junkies, it's not so far fetched some would even try calling anybody pedophiles or perverts.

Lemme give you a trick; 2008 years old membership is a copout.

If you looked like that in RL and were anatomically correct I would take you up on the offer and try to exceed your wildest expectations.

Hey.... that's my emoticon! In any case, it's the anatomically correct part you need to worry about: GmOOni changes genders like most people change pants.

Reading these together smells odd...OK, it probably smells bad. Surely you've changed your pants more than four times?

And since I've broken down and typed in this now-silly thread, I feel obliged to note that for humans, sex is a chromosomal trait, gender is a psychosocial trait, and there are more than two sexes and more than two genders (the wiki page for gender identity is not in the best shape).

Ooops..... I suppose I should have counted.... in any event, the first one indicates more than four swaps, so I'm still sane.

Hmmmm..... After reading your post, I fully expected you to end it with the classic "however any orfus will do" statement.

Chicks shouldn't be messing with the internets.

What does that say about yourself?

Well...that would be obvious- I shouldn't be messing with the internets.  The last time I started messing with the internets the power grid failed, my goldfish died and the neighbor's cat got eaten by a Python.

I thought the last time you messed with the internet you ended up in a straitjacket... ;p

...and the neighbor's cat got eaten by a Python.

A Python with a capital P? You mean the programing language? How does a bunch of insubstantial code eat a physical creature like a cat?

Wait... perhaps this isn't something mankind was meant to know. This might be something that would fry people's minds, warp their souls, and other bad stuff if they tried to make sense of this.

...

...

So please PM me the details. I'm curious and, by using a PM, only I might be harmed by your explaination.

Edit: Moosetek13 corrected me on my spelling.

How does a bunch of insubstancial code

insubstancial  - you mean insubstantial, right?

No, he means insubstacial! :P

What ever means that something is not composed of mater.

Thanks for the spell check. I'm ussually quite good at finding my errors.

It's the default nice to know you "care.". I could care less about profiles. I didn't come to this forum to socialize or sneak into the all boys clubs. I've been playing war strategy games since the release of the original Civ game, you know the ones with the really coloful square icons for units. Nice to see after all these years, the boys are still trying to strut their stuff and pretend they're the only ones around that matter.

Oh and I wanted to add, by socialize i mean turn my stardock account into another facebook, myspace, tagged, etc. account.

For the love of god people, don't take posts on this thread seriously

Have you ever met (or talked to) any serious girls?

Both my daughters were crazy (at times)... all it took was the wife to cool things down at the kitchen table; strangely, the usual TeeVee evening for them was seriously scrambled -- no matter what they tried on the remote, they couldn't type the newest password for the bothering impaired.

Two weeks later, they nodded and smiled in tandem.

Case closed.

*sigh*  angsty, aren't we?

Girl, boy.... who cares.  Most of us are human and that's all that  matters.

You have to expect some odd reactions to a "hobby", if you will, with a male majority that perceives a female among them.  It's not even a case of "boys strutting their stuff" so much as it is curiosity that a rather out-of-the-ordinary thing has happened.

Take, for example, karate.  I've been involved in it in one way or another for some time now and it's a male majority (save for kids classes, still unsure why).  When I see a female come into my class over the age of 18 I'll admit I'm suprised and instantly curious because it's a curiosity. It's out of the ordinary, and humans are naturally curious.  There's no sense of "she better get out brawr ima man" or anything.  If anything, there's a great deal of respect for her climbing out of the social nutshell of gender roles society has placed us in and being herself.

But be honest... if you saw a guy with a porcelein doll collection you'd have a similar, if not worse, reaction.  Yeah it's an extreme example I suppose, but reductio-ad-absurdum pretty much pwns everything.

Soapboxes are for soap.  Also for carting books to half-price bookstores.
