As far as I know, one truck on fire. It had pallets in the back that got lit.
See, the real problem was that people were gathering up in large groups before the game, and after it started, the police told everyone else still outside that they were part of an unlawful gathering and ordered them to disperse... Seriously? An unlawful gathering near the staples center where the championship was going to be decided... Naturally, a lot of people got pissed off and told the cops what they could do with their bullhorns. So the police start arresting people and that just pisses off a whole lot more people who responded in kind to the aggression. Some bottles were thrown, the tear gas was launched, and once that happens, it's pretty much go time for anyone who wants to have some fun.
It wasn't a riot even in the slightest. When LA riots, so does most of the rest of the nation. See 1965 and more so 1992. >=] Now those were riots.
