Rule's are simple...I'll post a strategy, the person after me will post it's counter, and so on, and so forth until we find a theoretical be-all-end all strategy. (Doubtful)
K, here goes:
Opponent is Advent
I believe my opponent is going to Scout/Seeker rush me, pringing a Halcyon carrier to the party.
Their HW is no more than 2 jumps away.
I am Vasari, on Quickstart
Deploy 2 scouts manually, 1 in each direction. (More scouts if more than one phase lane available at HW)
Build Jarrasul and take any 1-jump asteroids/starting available worlds IMMEDIATELY so opponent coudn't as easily. Also Build 2nd Crystal Extractor (Since Quickstart only builds 1)
2 Military Labs
Starbase Research/Upgrade asteroid So i don't lose creds/gain more resources
Build 3 Skirms
Build Starbase while i try to hold back my opponent's attack, which should have been starting soon, if not two lines ago
Research Assailant/Sentinel/1st tier fleet upgrade/possibly Skirantra depending on my situation fleet-wise
Start pumping out units as fast as i can, sell Metal/Crystal as needed to fund.
And that's it. Post your counter to this strategy. (Ignoreing the strategy posted above. i.e, i was defending against advent Scout/Seeker rush, now you are countering my own strategy with one of your own.
You may use any race to counter with.
You may not counter with an identical strategy to the one above you.
