I just dl'd the free trial version of this new program. It's even better than the old one and works great on Win7!
This would be worth getting for the darkening of inactive windows, except that the way I would expect it to work is that when you hover your mouse over inactive windows, it would unfade them temporarily (probably make them half as dark as the other inactive windows, rather than make them fully bright). As it is, switching windows feels like you're clicking in the dark.
