Canadian politics. The waitresses in Quebec are required by law to greet you with "Bonjour Hello". If they say "Hello Bonjour" they can be fined.
That is not Canadian politics, that's strictly Quebec. While I do not speak french I do respect Quebec's right to try and preserve their language from disappearing.
