Doing a object with Search function.
Can anybody give me a clue to build an object that works to search files on the computer... or in the web could be interesting.
Thanks in advance!

gef had a number of themes that had a internet search object in it. The script for that I think was written by Martin. RND may know something about local search of the computer.
There are DX browsers in the gallery. I think even Zubaz did one. As for local desktop search, I haven't a clue.
sViz or Skarny might be able to help.
Thanks guys! any link? meanwhile I'll search by myself.
Here' one from gef with a internet search object. https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/desktopx_themes/3644/
You can also define a new object in Builder then set it to System type then choose Find for the system function which will call the standard windows search function.
I probably have made hundreds ox DX objects for personal use and there have been more than a few search ones for internet sites. I never made one for the file system because the built in ones were so good.
Good luck on yours. I can't wait to see it.
Wow.. thank you so much guys!
