Anybody know about how long it takes for approval for a new skinner to get work uploaded?

You might want to check with jafo. He said a lot of walls didn't get approved.

Ecca2: The walpapers queu is allways the biggest one, because they are the most upload item and are moderated here, most of the time it is moderated by more then one admin.
Fotunatly I am not used to moderate walls, since we have much better wallpaper artists moderating them then me.

i'm in a similar situation. i uploaded an object for Desktopx early Saturday morning and it has not been posted yet. I'm not sure if the it is because it has not passed with the moderators, or if it's still queued... Just to let you know, it was a Final Fantasy media player object, so do you guys think it's a possability that it might not have been approved because of the FF cinematic pic in the object? I'd like to know because I'm creating a whole FF based DX theme that gives you control over windows via a final fantasy menu driven system with some amazing icons from the game, and more... and of course I'd love to unleash it unto the world. Check out the pic on my user profile for a screenshot of of the DX theme in action.

Nevermind, I spoke too soon. Seems like the object has actually been uploaded successfully. It just didn't show on the "newest additions" tab. If you like that object though, imagine that in the upcoming theme... hehehe.

Still takes a long time for us "older" uploaders too...then again, sometimes it is swift. Makes one wonder if it has something to do with the level of the stardock coffee machine
