Sounds like a hotel we stayed at in Texas and them 'roaches' well they are Texans too. I can handle bugs as a rule, but when they forage in numbers I tuck my tail and get out my Kimber to no avail and beat a quick retreat strategically warranted re-evaluation ... better to fight another day. Maybe a bazooka would be better hahaha. Looking fwd. to further details.
Your hotel room sounds like an apartment we had in Presidio. I really hate roaches, and that "Creepshow" vignette with E. G> Marshall did not help matters.
I see we focused on the same thing. Must be a primal fear for homo-sapiens. ![]()
I am not very tough. Cockroaches freak me out.
Heat doesn't agree with me either. And I am afraid of the dark. Finally, I am a city boy and fear the countryside.
Ideal holidays for me those were.
