Please help with this annoying problem!

Can someone please tell me how to make the taskbar buttons stretch to the full height of the taskbar?  I thought adjusting margins would do it, but that doesn't do sh!t.  My problem is that Microsoft in their infinite stupidity decided to make the Quicklaunch buttons larger than their standard taskbar, so it resizes the whole taskbar... except for the program buttons.  I know I can't fix it with windows, but I can't figure out how to fix it with Skin Studio either.

Any help?

You might be able to either reduce the top and bottom text margins on the "Quicklaunch icon buttons", and/or increase the text margins on the "Buttons".  You would tinker with those on SkinStudio's "Text" tab at the bottom of the screen.  Changing the margins on the "Painting" tab will not do what you're trying to do, if that's what you've been changing.

Otherwise, depending on the blind, the "Buttons" images may have blank space built into them which you would have to crop out with an image editor.  If you do that, you'd want to change both the painting margins and text margins to keep in line with the amount you've cropped off.

One other thing to be noted is that the start button affects the size of the taskbar. Make sure that the height of the start button matches the height of the taskbar you want it to be, from there as DaveRI mentioned can crop any unnecessary pixel data to achieve the result you want.
