Metaverse does not recognise Twilight of the Arnor

When I start upGalactic Civilizations II, I can access the Metaverse link on the game fine if I start it as  Dark Avatar or Dread Lords. But if I start it as Twilight of the Arnor it says no serial # is found in registry. I have put my serial number in where it ask for update serial number. it is copied directly off Stardock. There is a note that says "may require elevation", whatever that means. Any ideas on what's wrong with this chapter?

Right click on the game shortcut and choose run as administrator, then enter the key. If you are running under a limited user account, it may not be able to put it in the registry so the game can see it.

If doing that does not help, please contact [email protected] and they should be able to assist.

Thanks, I tried it, and it still does not work. It did give me a way to put in the key which I copied directly from Stardock, but did not solve the problem.

Ok...

Gotta delete that sig.bin file and reauthenticate

1.  Delete this file:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Stardock\Twilight\sig.bin

*** Note: Application Data is a nominally hidden folder, so you have to unhide it with folder options ***

2. Start TA (this will bring up the authenticate window)

3. Re-Authenticate with requested info

4. Enter Metaverse (You will not need to login if it works)

Good Luck

P.S.  I'm printing this for my own future installs.  hahahaha

Now I cannot get past the account registration screen. I am using the same log in information that I use to log-in to Star Dock. It just freezes up (will not do anything). I put the file back and game starts again, just back to the original problem, can access the Metaverse link on the game.
