Problem with title bar and resolution on laptop

I installed object desktop on my laptop, downloaded a couple af themes and whenever i upload them, the title bar doesn't show up right; the close,minimize and maximize buttons are gone; you can't see them. And the tas bar i has lower resolution, even when my settings are inthe highest.

Can anyone help me with this?

I'm not sure what you are getting at - can you see the whole window frame sans the buttons or does it look like the window runs off the edge of the screen?

If it's the latter, press Alt+Spacebar on your keyboard, and then X for maximise. You can also use Alt+Spacebar then M for move to drag the window around with the arrow keys so that you can get at the borders and resize the frame.
