Darkened Band on Upper and Right Hand Edges of Maps

I was disappointed to see that an issue I pointed out multiple versions ago remains in version 4.  What I'm referring to is an annoying darkened band around the upper and right hand edges of maps where the civs' colors don' show unless zoomed far in and even then they are subdued as though standing in a shadow.  The area covered is significant and one can clearly see the straight lines marking the inner edge of its border when zoomed in or out.  Is there going to be a fix for this issue?

yeah its on mine too, 4k single monitor. the colours along the top and right edge go muddy and dont read as anyone's territory until im zoomed most of the way in.

It's has been reported to the team yes. I've seen it myself on single sector gigantic maps if that's what you guys are talking about.
