I don't mean to sound stupid, but where is the "print screen" button? It should be to the right of your F12 key, left of the Scroll Lock on the top row of the keyboard.

It's been about an hour for me. I suppose everybody and their brother has submitted an email request at the same time. Their server is probably overloading. Could be....might explain the error some of us were getting earlier. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Gasp.gif" border=0 ALIGN="a
Been almost 3 hours....and still no email to upgrade.

There's this great movie called 'Day After Tomorrow' that you should watch. It might give you an idea about what is possible due to global warming. LOL, I bought the movie...I admit it's quite amusing....but it's a major exaggeration. I believe that global warming is a natural process....but
I just tried it again a few minutes ago and said the lookup was successful, now I'm just waiting for the email.
Has anyone heard the proof that girls are evil? We all know that Girls require two things: time and money So: Girls = Time x Money We also know that time is money, i.e: Time = Money Therefore: Girls = Money x Money = (Money)^2 And everyone knows that Money is the root of all evil, i
I use windowblinds, cursorxp, bootskin, and logonstudio.
Yeah that's what I was trying to do, add some articles to the "recommendations" section of the personal site. I had tried clicking on "add article to favorites" but I wasn't getting any popup conformation like I was with recommending skins, it would go back to the top of the page and there was nothing listed in the recommended articles section on my personal site. *shrugs*
I also got an error when entering my email address to get the latest enhanced build and serial. Stardock Support ChilkatWebMail.WebMailMan error '80004005' (SendEmail) (SMTP_Connect) smtp_host: mail.stardock.com smtp_port: 25 smtp_user: info socket is not ready for writing WSAEWOULDBLOCK The socket would b
I've figured out how to recommend a skin for the personal sites here, but I can't seem to figure out how to recommend an article. The articles don't seem to have a "recommend this item link" like the skins do, I tried the "add to favorites" link but I'm not sure what that does...if anything. o_O Am I just overlooking something or for some reason can't recommend articles on my personal site? <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Hm
Thank you SO much, that did the trick! Would you happen to know the solution for the other problem? (1. only expand to show the subfolders when I click on the + button) I also noticed that when I click on another folder name, the previous one collapses, I'd prefer it to just stay that way unless I manually collapse it myself. EDIT: I figu
This is after a fresh install of xp pro. I remember that it wasn't doing this on my last install, but for the life of me I can't remember how to disable those things and it's driving me nuts. >_
Bah it won't let me edit my first post. Here are some screenshots to better explain what I mean. Listing zips as subfolders: http://www.bebi.banterboard.com/forums/index.php?act=Attach&type=post&id=37 Autoexpand to flood window with all the subfolders: http://www.bebi.banterboard.com/forums/index.php?act=Attach&type=post&id=38
I'm using xp pro and in windows explorer folder view, when I click on a folder that has subfolders, it auto-expands it, listing all the subfolders. Also, it's listing all my zips as subfolders (I have winzip and winrar installed). How can I change the blasted thing so it doesn't do that anymore (1. only expand to show the subfolders when I click on the + button and 2. NOT list all my zips as their own folders)? *desperate and a
Check out the articles Journeyman Cordelia has been writing (www.cordelia.wincustomize.com) she has a whole set of how-to guides for the stardock products.
Well I had posted my list on your other choices topic, guess it got buried somewhere or something. This list is only comprised of windowblinds themes though, haven't gotten around to the rest of the stuff (wallpapers, cursors, bootskins/logons). I just have so many installed it's quite insane. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Tongue.gif" border=0 ALIGN="
How about an article on objectdock? Personally I've never tried it out and it seems to be pretty popular, it would probably be a helpful article.
These are great articles, very entertaining to read and also very informative. Wish they were around when I first started applying skins to my pc almost a year ago!
None of the js stuff is working for me either (also using firefox).
Cordelia's guide to cursorxp: http://cordelia.wincustomize.com/articles.aspx?SID=5314&aid=60983 Gah the link/image/other stuff apparently aren't working. :\
Cordelia has been writing some excellent guides for newbies. Link
Thank you joeKnow.....I'll be sure and pass on "kudos" to you for the idea of my 1st suite....and book....and movie.... """"Married for the Skinning of It"""" Could even be Gloria Alred's next big California divorce strategy..."His Skins Just Weren't Compatable." or "Her Icons Overshadowed My Widget." </
Since I found your newbie's corner articles so amusing (and inspiring) I decided to put together a list of themes I would recommend (also referenced to your great articles since I've also posted this at a rather large forum I'm staff at). Browsing through 3000 skins is a big job! I figured a select list of those skins would be a good starting point for anyone new to this whole desktop customization thing. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smil
Thanks, and no problem Sleeping Dragon.
