First post since...the last one... Been busy pursuing what has been defined by the World as a B.A. in English Literature. It is actually both an enthralling pursuit in some places and a tedious one in others. The tedious part comes from the classes I have to take outside of literature classes. Poetry and Literature are the order of the day ever

I wouldn't expect their XT card to go cheap since its the 512mb DDR3 behemoth...but its lesser brother the 256mb is tagged at $499. I am more interested in seeing some benchmarks of an X1800XT Crossfire setup, since that setup will have 1gb of DDR3 at its disposal. Granted benchmarks should improve as they do on nVidia cards since once the card is released its just a matter of squeezing out the most of the drivers and adapting them to the latest game

After I unloaded WB4.6 and turned off some services I installed WB5 after a restart and switch to XP Classic style. Installed fine and is running fine on the StealthOS provided skin. Looks nice so far. Go Stardock Go!!!

Thank Bob for alternatives to Firefox and IE. Opera is now ad-free and completely free with 8.5, which they update their software quite frequently. There are a plenty of other good browsers out there...I just happen to use Opera. Use what you like but don't expect security from an internet browser. That is what they made Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware programs for...plus if you are really worried, software firewalls and routers

Apple wants to get the gaming crowd...they would have to allow computers to be built by just parts. Most hardcore gamers, like me, build their PCs. If you could actually build an Apple with something more than Apple parts, like a DFi or MSI MoBo or using a Modular Power Supply, than they might win over more users. Make the OS more important than the hardware. Let them make the computer but don't restrict their OS to only their hardware.

A Patriot of a country will support that country through thick and thin regardless of who in charge politically, because for the Patriot whether he/she dislikes the people in the government or not that is NEVER important. The only thing important for a Patriot is that they will ALWAYS wish well and good things for the their country and NEVER EVER wish any harm upon the country even for such a petty thing as disliking the people in power in the Governm

Problem is a 'good' politician will NEVER be elected until you get rid of all the 'bad' politicians currently in office along with the corrupting influences in D.C. or anywhere. Remember the poetry of ee cummings. "A politician is an arse upon which everyone has sat except a man [or woman]." - GX

The program Rumsfield killed was called "Crusader" and that heavy artillery piece was slower moving and required a separate targeting vehicle to operate. Can you tell me that we cannot get the same job done without spending money on something that people assume to be "bigger and better". When in reality it is neither but just a waste of money. The Paladin and the 155MM Howitzer do the job of the Crusader and than some without requiring an ad

When you mentioned that I looked online at Amazon and ordered His Best Vol.2, which contains those songs but I also like Chuck's early stuff as well. Such as: Maybellene Roll Over Beethoven School Day Rock and Roll Music Johnny B. Goode The other musicians I will probably pick up sometime in the future are Carl Perkins, Gene Vincent, Jerry Lee Lewis, Muddy Waters, Little Richard, Fats Domino, Buddy Holly and more likely

Well, I can tell you this personally I am not bringing sales down at Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Amazon, etc. as I continue to buy products as my wants require me too. Like today I picked up the 21 Best Songs of Three Dog Night CD and Chuck Berry's His Best Vol. 1 at Best Buy. I have ordered the complete series of Lexx (season 1-4), bought more Reverend Horton Heat, Cave Catt Sammy, etc. from Amazon along with Alec Empire's Intelligence and Sacrifice, I h

You know if these researchers looked in a history book they might find out that this has always been true for sexually active young adults who don't take precautions. You can trace this back to America probably to the colonial days or western days, etc. (CLAP comes to mind). I just think some researchers took an easy idea and cashed in on it, with little thought or effort into their research since the result was going to be true regar

It is a fact of life that Corrupt Politicians WILL ALWAYS EXIST period unless the corrupting influences are removed along with the corrupted officials...maybe. Removal from GOP leadership sounds fair enough but than again I am neither GOP or in position to change that fact and DeLay is no more corrupt or less corrupt than some of his fellow senators across the aisle. Democrat, Republican, Whig, Federalist, etc. in each party corrupt

If the state that DeLay represents still wants him and vote for him, than who am I to say that the man is wrong and such since I am not in his state nor is he in mine. I can push my state's senators Luger and Bayh to look into it but ultimately the matter of whether this man is misbehaving or not is a state issue, as he represents a state not a party nor the entire government like the office of President. Let DeLay's state take care o

Ah, kingbee that sounds like a plan for a movie... Gandhi from an alternate dimension goes on a killing rampage as Keanu Reeves says "Dude" in attempt to stop the killer Gandhi. Featuring Albert Einstein as the "Genius Scientist" and Mel Gibson as "Mad Mel" with cameo from Tom Cruise as "Now here we have the first place L. Ron Hubbard took a crap." Plus featuring in co-starring roles Anonymous Hot Girls of every race and cult

I watched Captain Planet when I was younger so I think I know how to take care of the enviroment well enough... Get four other people to say "Earth, Wind, Water and Fire" than I say "Heart" and than we say together "Go Planet!!" Or did I miss something? Whether Napoleon was French in blood or spirit the man pissed off the great composer Ludwig von Beethoven and in my book that gets a big 'X' across their picture. By the by, check this out [LINK] . You know I watched "the Passion of Christ" and did not walk away with an ounce of Anti-Semitism since it was the Romans that killed him unless Jewish people wore Roman armor and played Roman Legionnaires. Though, unless a person was Anti-Semitic to begin with than the person should not become anti-Semitic after having seen the Passion movie. Kind goes for all racists/intolerance beliefs if you hear, read, see, etc. stuff along those lines you don’

Well, now I know who to watch when I need a boring lecture to listen to for aid in sleeping, oh wait I thought that was C-Span 1 and 2. Sounds nice though as long as Gore does not turn it to all-day all-week Gore-a-thon or if it becomes heavily embroiled in politics. - GX

Hell, I just like the mention of Johnny Cash and the post is good by the by. I walk the line in a ring of fire so I don't end up in Folsom Prison with the blues in a cell with a boy named Sue who sings a ballad about Ira Hayes and contrasts it with Ghostriders in the Sky who sing about Cocaine Blues while the water is Five Feet High and Rising drowning a Bullrider who Hurts. Dabe, The point was that Tommy spouts separation of Church and State but requires Church for people to do business with him, which as business goes is asinine.
