Liberal 100% (no surprise there) New Labour 80% Anarcho-Syndicalist 71% (get the dictionary) Totalitarian 64% (what the f***! How the hell did I get that?) Libertarian 48% Authoritarian 41% Traditional Societies 38% Conservative 11% (no surprise there either) I also took the candidates test advertised below, with some surprises Cobb, David (Green) 91% Ralph Nader (Independant) 91% (What? Well, I'm still somewhat in denial, but I think I've moved on from "no more war '04" to "can't wait till '08." How badly do you have to screw up to get defeated? And would it have been any different if they had Dean? Hopefully it will be McCain vs. Gephardt or Dean in 2008 or some other win-win scenario.

BUSH CAN GO TO FUCKING HELL. I'd Kill him and the Damn Devil Rove! Just give me gun. Though I don't care for Kerry either. IMO were fucked either way, Voting Independant in the end is giving Bush a vote. This is not way to run a democracy. Our system is fine, but the abuse upon it is not. Ma

Thanks, but most characters that are played are not going to have that much stamina. I'll see what I can do. Usually when I play I try to build up the HQs really quick, getting to level 2s in the big states. I usually have a budget around 300,000/turn. Its not enough, especially when the computer can make do with only 5 HQs, none

I beat him the other day, but I was using my killer Howard Dean/Ed Broadbent team (Dean has good stamina, money, fundraising to build up HQs in start, Ed has good experience, and personal qualities (credibility, integrity, compassion, etc.). I focused on HQs and political capital with spare stamina for the first 25-30 weeks, then got endorsements and TV ads and made a comeback (truth be told, I saved at week 39, got Al Gore'd (win popular vote, lose F

Actually, they had a media recount, and had they (election officials) counted all the votes, Gore wins. Also, there mere many African-American (predominately Democratic) voters wrongly prevented from voting, so Gore would have won by a wider margin. The problem is the system. Since it is based on who wins what state, your vote only matters if you live in a swing state. Voting for Kerry in Texas or Utah isn't going to change anything, same as voting

Yeah. If only Kerry could get his act together and stop running this horrible campaign, there would be a descent President who knows the meaning of the word diplomacy, which is something that was lacking for the past few years.

But had they counted ALL the votes, Gore would have won, but since he only asked for a partial recount, it is partially his own stupid fault. For me to be happy, all they have to do is count all the votes and declare the winner President. Is that too much to ask? Wait...no...Better idea: let the man who gets the most votes win.

He would introduce a constitutional amendment to ban Netscape To win the election, he could Ctrl-Alt-Delete Florida voters. Sound familiar? He's so rich he could just buy the election anyway, like they did in 2000.

I know that HQs are important, but I can't see building that many to level 3 status. Sure they bring in the big bucks, but they cost $1.75 million to build. Do you build up gradually to start with 10 level ones, then build 10 level 2? and move from there? I just think the overall cost is too much. Its crippling in the short term.

I got the pics, but i can't get the information into the game of the Canidians. Can you help? The candidates go in Data, but if you can't copy them in, try going into the game, setting them up (name, picture and party), then quitting and going into Stardock/Polmachine/Data and finding them and editing t

Getting ready for school. When I saw the 1st tower burning on a morning show (around 7:something in my time zone), I thought it was an accident (I was thinking about when a plane accidentaly hit the Empire State Building). But when I saw the 2nd tower burning, I realized that it couldn't be an accident. I heard about the other planes in school (my English teacher had a radio on in class), but it didn't hit me how serious it was and the damage it cau

I just beat Washington today with my custom Howard Dean / Ed Broadbent (he picked Cheney), but it was close. I saved at week 39 and got Al Gore'd (win popular vote, lose Florida. I want a recount! ). I loaded my game and won with over 300 by getting FL and TX. I used my build HQs and capital for 1st 25-30 weeks, (Especially focus on big HQs in potential battlegrounds when your running m

It seems that a lot of attitudes are hereditary. Racism, political leanings, and religion are all basically hereditary. I'll admit that though I know enough about politics now to understand and make an informed choice, and am basically as liberal as people get. In 2000, (I think I was 13 or 14, too lazy to do basic math) I was a moron. I cheered for candidates at random. I think I liked (this pains me to admit) Pat Buchanan, because I like to cheer

I find that if you build a few massive HQs and HQs in every state you hope to win up to week 20-25, you can get like 1 million per turn, and then fight and win an uphill battle (around week 20 I think I had like 50 EVs) against the opponent by winning endorsements and taking out TV ads late in the game. I just defeated Reagan like that (442-96 I think), but I was using my custom Howard Dean, who has a few extra points (mostly in money, fundraising and

I guess I'm just cold and isolated here in Winnipeg, because we are somehow in between Stephen Harper's "The West" and Paul Martin's Ontario and Quebec, So we end up voting for the NDP (19 seats! Woohoo! Now if only we can restore ourselves to our former glory of 43 back in the days of Ed we might actually matter or something). But hypothetically, if Canadians got to vote in the election, Bush would be screwed. I think that out of everyone I know, ma

Yeah, basically where I'm coming from is most of them (apart from mass murderers) are going to eventually come out (don't even get me started on capital punishment), and we don't want them coming out more insane and violent than when they got in, so we should do what we can in order to make them more productive members of society, instead of career criminals going back in every few months. I realize that there are always a few who are just too dangero
