I can some what guess about that on the normals but the wide screen is not familiar to us. I have thought about doing the 1600x900,1900x1188 or just do high resolution to work around for some.

Mostly just wanted to ask people what a good combination of sizes for walls might kind of work all the way around.I keep coming across people who need a larger size and some need a wide-screen size. I believe I can render the same wall in both but I could sure use some opinions on the sizing combonation. Widescreens 1024x576 1024x640 1152x648 1152x720 1280x720 1280x800 1600x900 1900x1188
I plan on changing some sizes of the walls because we normally do 1024x768,1280x960 and 1680x1260. I recently did Jack's Beanstalk 1600 x 1200,1680 x 1050 and 1920 x 1200. I agree with Skinhit most would be happy to render your size as I have been doing for others. Some want things taken out or put in. It's kind of a short-order cook thing going on.
We have been pitching the wide-screen thing around too but in reverse. From what I have noticed with some of them if the subject is centered so that cropping doesn't effect the original content idea to much then there would be no resizing the wall width allowing no chance of distortion. If the renderer would give it a high resolution that would help. I have used a cloning tool to widen a wall or piece one together.
Actually, I am not me. I am two me's. Tippytoenail stands for two pet raccoons. No, I am not a raccoon. My sister and I are raccoons. Get it!! Gee, now I'm confused.
Ok I came back to read my question and found the answer in what I asked. It seems I have to enable the hide option and pink out the image I made and then place the image on another piece like the background . Not sure if that's the correct way but it seems to be working!
I can hide the pic in the override section or disable it. But for the life of me I can not get rid of the one that my comp keeps slapping over the one that I made to go with a blind that I'm working on.The one on my user account keeps popping up over the top of it. The account won't use a TGA pic. If I use a tiny image on the account it will only stretch it. So I'm some what stumped.
I finally had some time to work with it again and I have it fairly close now. I did learn a little something with Photoshop. I haven't heard anything on the driver updates yet but maybe soon. I can deal with it better now then before. Thanks for the help again.
We checked on the updates. We will check out the app that you spoke of seldomseen . Who knows ! I have not thought about the ( Hall of TV Screen H_ll ) side of it but, that may be a big part of it. They are both Dells 8200 and 4600 with 5 years difference in the age. So the monitors are similar but not the same. We do have Photoshop and I will try to see what I can do using that. Will post in a few days the results of Photoshop. This may just work tjesterb. Thank you both f
We have 2 computers that we use for graphics. One is 128MB DDR ATI Radeon 9800 . The other is a NVIDIA GeForce MX/MX 400 . The color on the ATI is driving me nuts. It makes it hard to pass files in-between computers because the color has such an impact of change from the ATI going to the NVIDIA . If I get the colors to look alike on both then on the ATI machine it will bite me with another problem. For an example if I open her Bryce program (after I have adjusted her color) I can barely see the
Chere and I were wondering the same thing because we don't want to come across as a couple of little pigs even if we do live on a farm. We just uploaded the wrong preview image on the Halloween Tree. No big deal though we did enjoy the comments on this one as we were looking for the same info.
