Po, I have a thinkpad running at 366mhz. With only 228 mb of sodimm, and a 4 gig hdd. It has XP running onit, albeit slower than my desktop, runs very well. For WK2 I would get at least 128 mb of memory in that thing, try for more if there's a slot and upgrade what's in there if it ain't nailed it (soldered). To answer your question that everyone is ignoring: 128MB Module 16x64-66MHz, 144p SO DIMM, 3.3v, Sync will do you. And if your fri

I like your choice in CPU...the 939 socket is where AMD will be focusing their attention in development for a while, so upgrading the CPU will be easy. However, the Asrock mobo doesn't appeal to me much. I recently bought an Asus K8N board, 754 socket as I have already got a Sempron 3100 that overclocks nicely to 2200+mhz. The Asus board was $94 US. This is a local purchase and I was thrilled to get the price without going online for the purchase.<

Thanks for the reply, NT. It's not the image that has caused my problem. But, yes, this does happen. Becomes frustrating when you get a nice frame and then it changes when you import it. Took me a few tries to get this one right. When I have the theme applied, and maximize a window, the topframe is completely tranparent, not there. No buttons, no title, no image. Bad thing is that the image I am using has no transparency.

Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? I have renamed the skin, uninstalled and re-installed both WB and SS. Problem started when I changed Active Horizontal Text Alignment from OS Default to Center. SS told me that the preview would not be painted correctly when I tried to change setting back to default.

Out-@#$@!#$$-standing!!! I love this toy!! I am using LiteStep (Obsidian) and GeForce 5500, 81.95 drivers. Window dragging is only thing not doing...but I think it's because of the per-pixel or LiteStep config. Loving the animations and transitions!!!

lifehappens, do not run two virus scanners at once. I like the MS Antispyware plus SpybotS&D and AdAware, you're good to go with those if you run the latter two once every two weeks. If Windows Firewall is all you are using, try finding ZoneAlarm for free (5.1 I think), or even sign up for the Windows OneCareLive, which comes with a nice firewall for those who are not too expert in firewalls. Your machine seems set up nicely,

Starkers, You have done all that you can do, without getting yourself into trouble with your gov't. Seems like there is always a "catch 22", our hands can get tied when our intentions are in the best interests of all parties. As I do not know the Law in the Land of Oz, I wouldn't assume to give legal advice, but I do think that with all you've given in the forum, there is nothing left BUT to give over to the State the "rights" to supervise and govern
