I can't tell you why IP crashes but if you right click on the icon you want to change and then go to properties in the pop up menu you can change it from there. Click change icon and if there is nothing in the window you want to use then go to browse. Follow the tree to where ever the icon you want to use is and click on it, then click OPEN. It will take you back to the properties window, click apply.

Move the window to where you want it, resize if neccessary. I got rid of AOL a couple of months ago but I think if you click on the windows in the toolbar at the top and then click on remember size and position it will stay where you want it to.

Bichur, I kept hoping that an AVG update would fix it. I've had a couple of program updates along with the daily virus updates, but no luck. Uninstalled and ran ccleaner, waiting for another Stardock update to see if it helps. xSCORPx, tried downloading easycleaner but it wouldn't work. Downloaded from a link on Firefox Google but the exe. wouldn't work. Tried a link from IE that took me to ToniArts homepage but when I tried the freeware li

I searched and searched and as far as I can tell I'm the only one in the world that ran into this problem after uninstalling Learn2 Player. Just hoping that someone knows something or maybe an idea about what I could have done to bring this upon myself. Never had a problem with AVG before, thought maybe I might have deleted something I shouldn't have with ccleaner or TweakNow. Or maybe Windows Defender, which I changed to at about the same time that th

For the last month and half I've been having freezes anytime I have to restart my computor for updates to Stardock products and others. It started when I uninstalled Learn2 Player and asked me to restart. Restarted and got AVG window, just a border no contents. Everything was frozen, moved the cursor to the task bar and it sat there cycling through a wait cycle. Went through a lot of stuff that I've since found to be unnecessary, including a blue scree

Blazing fast on Opera and MSN Explorer, still getting occasional stalls on Firefox. That sucks because I use Firefox about 90% of the time. 1.5 DSL. Firefox needs some tweaks I think.

I think that any custom cursor program will give you an occasional conflict. I downloaded Blender and it recommends not using any custom cursor because of menu corruptions when you mouse over them. That's about the only thing I've learned about Blender. Think I'll stick to the 3D programs I've invested money in. I still use CursorXP most of the time and the only time I see it using resources is when you move the cursor. Other than that it's pretty mini

Because of this post I found out why I was getting line corruptions when using MSN Explorer over another maximized window. If I lined up my cursor just right over the line it turned out to be the title bar from the window below. The lines could be anywhere on the MSN window. Disabling Cursor XP cures the problem. Another weird thing with Cursor XP.

Remember when you tell who the artist was by the time you heard the first line of the song. Or when George Harrison got sued and lost over three little notes. I seldom listen to new music these days because it all sounds so similar, down to the notes and especially the voices. It's like anytime someone hits every producer is looking for someone who sounds exactly like them. Wouldn't hurt my feelings at all if the whole industry collapsed because the cr

All of the window dragging effects work perfectly on non per pixel skins. If I use any of them with a per pixel skin the window locks on the effect and will not stop, just sits there spinning or wiggling or whatever the effect is. Are we the only ones having problems with per pixel skins? If so I guess I can live without them.

Suppose they did win and made it illegal to copy and impossible to copy off any CD. The next day someone would have a bootleg out that they recorded with microphones taped to their speakers. A guy at work is always talking about some movie he downloaded with people in the theater getting up and walking in front of the camera. When it comes to free quality is no object. It's all about the free.

HP. I removed it through Control Panel uninstall. Should have written down the missing win32 component that showed up after I ran the debugger, but I was sort of panicked. Didn't really know what to do with it anyway. Went to safe and did a system restore, not recovery. Worked out ok for not having a clue what I was doing. Don't know why it happened. AOL wouldn't put something harmful that I didn't ask for on my computor, would they? A side note, you h

Cleaning out programs tonight and ended up with the BSOD. I was going through and uninstalling programs I don't use and decided to delete Learn2 Player since I didn't know where it came from and why it's on my computor. Deleted and got a must restart message. When it restarted AVG came up but only as a window border, no contents, and everything was frozen. Did a hard reboot a couple of times but no help. Did F8 tried a couple of things, one of which br

I'm using WFX 2.89a(b).002 and the window dragging effects work sort of. After the update I tried transparency, no go, and then the one that cuts the window into rectangles and spins them. Drug it a few inches and it sat there spinning and wouldn't stop. FX wouldn't unload through itself or task manager. Wouldn't restart through task manager either, everything else was frozen. Had to do a hard re-boot. BFG NVidia GeForce 5500 256MG OC PCI. According to
