I would also love to see just one news media outlet dedicate itself to reporting FACTS without any sort of political or editorial bias whatsoever. Wouldn't that be refreshing? Heh. I'd love to see one news outlet report on something that is currently taking place (which we can see on the screen

You support this President and what he stands for so much? You support this war and all the troops fighting in it so much? Then prove it! Instead of talking the talk and calling guys like Virupaksha cowards, why don't you do something to prove to the rest of us that you are a patriotic American? It's really simple so even you sho

Good job! I better not let my kids see this pictures, or I might be begging for ideas later this year. That last picture reminds me of photos my parents have of me and my brothers doing the same thing. Those boys are precious! Enjoy them while they're young. Before you know it, they'll be grown and gone. So says the father of a 4, 5, 7, and 9 year old gag

But when I say "all Conservatives are fools", I'm commenting on the foolishness of the ideology they promote. Eh, not quite. the "all Conservatives are fools" identifies the people in that group as fools. In which case .... I may or may not be offended ('cause there are many days where I feel qu

And treason commited during time of war carries a death sentence. Treason committed at ANY point carries a death sentence. Quick trivia question: What's the one crime specifically mentioned in the Constitution of these here United States?

Reading a recent comment by MasonM, I realized something that's been tickling the edges of my awareness for a while now. The gentleman is a dying breed. I say they should be put on the endangered species list. I am just a plain spoken, Southern boy from north Alabama. I was raised to be a gentleman. To me, a gentleman exemplifies the following

Have you known the Times-Disgrace to be consistent? For soothe and for shame! At best, they're consistently inconsistent. My wife and I read it more for the chuckles over the inaccuracies and inconsistancies in their reporting.

Sounds good to me. Here in Virginia, there's a similar project going on. Called Project Exile. It's not quite as ... stringent ... as Florida's. It's a flat 5 years. As the signs say Guns + alcohol (or drugs or other crimes) = 5 years. Living in Petersburg, it's brought some of the gun related crimes down, but not elminated them. Too many young punks, rednecks and "gangsta" types in too small an area to keep it down for long.

Hehe. I learned this lesson .... uhm. 1, 2, 3 ... Hang on. I have to take off my shoes to count that high. Ah, yes. 13 years ago. See? I could do it! Learned it before we were even married. Which is why I still do it from time to time. Better for my wife is: sneaking home before she gets back from work and doing house work (toys, laundry, dishes from the last 3 or 4 days ... <img src="../images/smiles/smile.gif" border=0

In the end I think abortion should be the choice of the individual. Here's a shocker ... I agree with you 100%. In my choice/opinion/conviction, it is a wrong choice. However, I will stand up for your (and everyone else's) right/privelage to disagree with me.

I was listening to the radio yesterday on the way home from the office. I heard a song playing that I've been hearing for several years. It's by Joe Diffie and is called "Third Rock from the Sun". It's a song about how, even when everything looks chaotic and out of control, if you look close enough, there's "a chain of events. Cause and effect." All of li

It seems to me that there are as many reasons to be for or against abortion as there are people on the planet. Everyone has their reasons. What I'd like to do in this article is to explain MY reasons for why I'm against abortion. It all started in November of 1974. Wait, check that. It all started about 9 months earlier. When my wife's mother conc

Recently, Latour asked an interesting question about what we think it means to support our troops. Link I'd like to expand on what I responded to him in the comments. Over the course of the last 65 years, our country has fought in 5 major conflicts and numerous minor conflicts. The r

As you've noticed, I posted a similar article. I'd have to agree with "You could throw me any number of typical political questions, and while I lean left, I'd likely piss off both the left and the right." Except for the "lean left", that about sums up my experience w/ political issues.

I know what y'all are thinking. Any conservative person in America today has to be confused. Far be it from me to disabuse you of the notion. I should say that I'm a confusing conservative. I believe in several things that put me in that camp. I believe: There is a God who sent His Son to die for us over 2000 years ago.</

After a brief hiatus, including problems with ISP and web hosts, the Chaos Manager blog is back in business. Not that it had very many readers to begin with. Hopefully, this will change. Y'all come back and check for more later, ya hear?
