Not hadly this year. one of the 3 good games the Raiders played was against him. And they won. Best to keep up with the times.
I said it came back to haunt Al Davis twice a year and I stand by that. I never said they beat the Raiders twice a year. His record against the Raiders was 21-7. Do you really believe I think Shanahan went unbeaten in 14 straight years against the Raiders? Come on, Doc.
Shanahan still sucks. He leeched off of the whiner

It shouldn't come as surprise that the Chargers won. Despite their 9 game winning streak I felt the Colts weren't the Colts of the past few years. No running game and Marvin Harrison is a shadow of what he once was. Peyton Manning's extraordinary play made the Colts this year. The Chargers on paper are one of the most talented teams in the NFL. They have rarely played up to their talent this year. Remember when the season started they were one of the favorites in Vegas to win it all.<
Okay Roy, now how in the hell do you embed a youtube video? very carefully! (I'll send you a step-by-step how to via JU message later)
Thanks, Roy. I can't believe I finally did it. Thank God I can follow instructions really well. At least, Rose really thinks so. [e digicons];P[/e]

Rose ,
I agree with Kelly...Just glad to see ya writing on here...
She wants us both to write. :) Roy ,
I agree with Maso. You quit or change when YOU are ready. No person or no amount of preaching or no date on a calendar can tell you when that time is. That belongs to you.
Exactly. Good thing I'm damn near perfect. ;)
Kelly ,
I like the idea of a clean slate. I don't make resolutions anymore, like quitting things. I kind of like to reflect on the year and make new goals. I also do that in my birthday month, which begins with the letter O. October, olley-olley-oxen free, organ and other pleasureable O words.
:) So are you tell me you start each day with a big O? BTW .. I'm talking about O range juice .. what were you thinking about? ;)
Mark ,
I'm with you on this one, mate. While the start of the year seems like a good time to do something about changing bad habits, it really should be when a person feels most capable. Toni and I both gave up cigarettes last year and we did this when we were ready and not as a resolution. I think some people think the start of a new year is a chance to right wrongs. But as far as I'm concerned, this could be any time. By the way, thanks to you and Rose for the
I get mad but can't really maintain it...takes too much time and energy.
You ain't joking. I never could understand how people could be piss all day or how they could frown all day. There was this woman I used to work with who would look like she hated the world every single day. She would have this big frown for the whole 12 hour shift. My nickname for her was "Penitentiary Face". Finally one day I just asked her, "Why you mad everyday? Don't frowning all day hurt your
1. I'm all for being blunt. I actually think people appreciate it. 2. Fuck people who don't get what you're saying. I would drop it, too. It's their loss. 3. I tell Rose I'm a lion all the time. So corny or not, roar away, B. BTW .. good to see you writing.
This article needs to be posted in every mall across America. I don't go the mall to be grossed out by people who don't own mirrors. I go to check out all those beautiful women who do know how to dress .. err .. I mean to check out all the great stores in their fine establishment. Joking aside, the article still needs to be posted in every mall.
Good luck with your resolutions. I know a way you could save money. Since you're drinking only one Dr. Pepper a day instead of 2, 3 or 4 everytime you get the urge to drink more than one put whatever it'll cost to buy one away. After a year you'll have a nice tidy sum. :)
Didja get my PM UDig?
Yeah, I did. Thanks, Roy I'm going to try .. try .. try that. I bet we got people curious on what the hell were talking about. [e classic];)[/e]
Har, har...they could tell you a story or two!lol!
~pulls a chair out next to Roy and opens his ears~ :)
When would quitin' time come?
Or worse .. when will startin' time be? ;)
Mike Shanahan is a very good coach but it was time for him to go in Denver. His team looked lousy the last 3 games of the season. Injuries or not, his team didn't play hard the last game of the season. For a team not to play hard when the playoffs is unexcusable. Maybe after 14 years players have tuned him out I don't know. If so then more reason for him to go. The last 3 years Denver is 24 -24. They have won only 1 playoff game since John Elway has retired. Pat Bowlen, the Broncos own
You got a knack for writing great dialogue. I, for one, love reading it. Next time I'm at the titty bar, drinking some Captain and telling dirty jokes to the girls I'm gonna raise my glass to all the Uncle Hiemies. You included, my friend.
Uh, Donna...I hate to tell ya but if you lived to see the year 3000 you'd be over a thousand! I don't think we're a gonna make it!
Damn, Roy beat me to it. Donna, I know women don't like revealing their age but .... ;) Since I would be over 900 years old I will be the one in the flying car flying straight with the right blinker on. :)
Okay Roy, now how in the hell do you embed a youtube video? [e classic]:-|[/e]
It's a New Year. I never give New Year's much thought. Fuck resolutions and all that bullshit. I don't have time for them. Don't get me wrong I have no problems with other people who make a list of them for the upcoming year with your "I'm going to quit" somethings. I'm going to quit smoking, drinking, overeating, being an asshole, etc. etc. etc. Why wait until now to start? Why wait to fucking January? Why because that month starts with a J? Then why didn't you start last Jul
I am now on my way to Long Beach to pick up some steelo going to Phoenix, and then will pick up some other steel there that will take me back to WI, so at least there's a plan and I am on the move again.
Good to hear you're on the move again. Hope you don't run into any snow.
I was thinking earlier that it was too bad there isn't a bar around here, and then I remembered that I don't have the cash for that even if there were. Bummer on both co
Ok I'm back. So much better. Hey Doc, even Rose knows how bad the Raiders management has been. ;)
Donna, hope your Christmas went well and Happy New Year!
I never have been good with resolutions. I usually start thinking of them around December 30th and usually break them around January 3rd. [e digicons][/e]
Burn, baby burn!
:) I wouldn't mind working from home. Something easy that was very profitable ... and legal.
