I only have one cd-key for the "gold edition" ( orginal with altarian exp set ). When i try to upgrade using stardock, it says the CD key is invalid, but upgraded the pdf and the multimedia folder.

Hi, I brought the game today, and i really do enjoy playing. i brought the gold edition, which includes Altarian Prophecy expansion set. When i first played, i managed to get about 20 minutes into the game, then my PC restarted and galciv will not run once back in windows. I downloaded the 1.2 update, since stardock does not recognise my cd key for the gold edition ( only the exp set, but even then it says its invalid CD key ). it ran for a little while longer, but again my PC
