We are not afraid to metion or the mention of God at all. Watch this: God, God, God, God, God...etc. See? No problem Now say Jesus.....Jesus.....Jesus....that's the hard part. It's more personal. There are many gods out there....but only one Jesus. The atheist believes in a god...just n

We all have different interpretations of Holy Scripture, mind, and I don’t expect everyone to agree that Genesis 1 is a metaphorical statement. Just as it can't be expected for everyone to interpret Genesis 1 literally Hey Andy I think you hit it on the head right here. This is the crux of the whole ma

That's what I got one year. My parents bought crack instead. After that....what more can be said here? I'm so sorry that happened to you. My heart breaks when I hear that type of thing. I only hope that you (if you have kids today) don't pass that legacy onto them and they are much better

it came about through a process of evolution, taking billions of years, just as the evolutionists claim. I was right with ya....until this Andy. This I draw the line. If God said it took a day....it took a day. Went to the original Hebrew on this one. There is another word for day but this word here

Yet we still have our own personal trials and tribulations to conquer throughout daily life. The good news is that we aren’t alone. Jesus is with us always, and He will support us, guide us and light our way – if we will but trust Him and let Him lead. Very nicely said.....I couldn't agree more. <BR

Hehe. And it never hurts to add an "s" or an "ed" to an already profitable word! (Contrary to what he says, that is NOT cheating!) I am so with you here!!! I love to do this as well. It is not cheating.......and sometimes done just right a letter or two can land me big points adding to two previous wo

So it's the day before Christmas and the boys are all home. So I'm sitting here thinking about the games we'll play tomorrow. It's quite common on Christmas for us to open up a few games to play. My favorites are scrabble and cribbage. But now that I have a son that likes to use scientific words I've never heard of I'm not so sure about the scrabble idea. I may

ok got one for you Heather.....did you know this? In the KJV of John 3:16 it's translated "Only begotten son." Well most think of this as having something to do with his birh and/or his incarnation from Mary. But I was reading this week from a guy whose area of expertise is in Greek Grammer. He said that's not what the word in Greek means. It means "unique one" and was used in the first century as "unique and beloved." <BR

Our kids only get one or two things from Santa (besides the stocking stuff). We wrap the other stuff up and put it under the tree and then Santa brings the "most wanted" gifts and puts them out by the tree, unwrapped, while the kids are sleeping. We also fill those miniature stockings with candy and a small toy and put that in bed

Has anyone noticed it's not the Jews objecting to the Christmas issue? For many years we've celebrated Christmas big in our country and the Jewish believers quietly put up with us Christians. They didn't bother us and we didn't bother them. I don't even think it's the Muslims or any other religion that typically doesn't have Jesus as their central religious figure complainiing. At least I've not heard anything. The JW's don't celebrate Chr

Now I take this same principle to a larger scale. I believe that many people come to God without knowing the full picture. The “full picture”, in this context, includes other religious revelations. (It’s no secret that the religious tradition which people feel inclined to follow depends on where they were born. If we had been bor
