Look for a quick boot function in CMOS and turn it on if you have one. It will bypass a few of the boot up tests if you want it to.

There was a survey recently that offered a discount coupon that may still be good.
I can confirm that the popup ad on Fences advertising version 2 is correct. It's happened to me as well. For me, it just acted as a reminder to install version 2 on that machine.
RIP skyzyk
Well, I'm about where I figured I'd be...
Quoting CarGuy1, reply 10 Did you by chance install the IE10 update?Yes, I did and I uninstalled it along with update KB2670838 this afternoon. Thanks for reminding me to check. The dream now runs like a...well, a dream. Maybe it was just me but IE10 just wasn't performing consistently across several sites, so I rolled back to IE9.
I read that Microsoft is going to make IE 10 an import
Wiz...I don't think it's Stardock. These were working for me yesterday on my Win 7 machine before I installed the IE10 update. Today they wouldn't work. I did a system restore to before I installed IE10 and now those dreams work fine again. Did you by chance install the IE10 update? If so, try a system restore to before you updated.
At the time those dreams were made MB and I were creating dreams for 16.10 resolution widescreen monitors. That was the aspect ratio for widescreen monitors back then. Now, 16.9 aspect ratio monitors have become the norm and 16.10 were fazed out. The ones you are referring to are encoded at 1792x1120 which for some reason Windows 8 does not seem to support no matter if you have a MPEG2 codec or not. I've found that Windows 8 doesn't like anything over 1080

If you change it, it might take a few minutes to take effect. That's why it didn't show for me earlier. Now...why is the quote button MIA?
I hope they fix this soon.
It looks like the forums got a bit of work today. Am I the only subscriber getting ads?
ID, How did you put your website address below your name. I'd settle for that if possible. BTW...your sites for sale.
The article states that according to win8china, Windows Blue will be a free update to Windows 8. I wonder where they get their information? MS gets hacked recently and then confidential information gets leaked from Chinese website. Makes you wonder.
If it's the same skin, you should update the original and delete the new one.

Perhaps Hostess was a bad analogy. I wasn't there so I can't tell you exactly what happened or why the pay raises were allowed. Perhaps the raises were allowed because of the additional hours that management were working due to the bankrupcy. One thing you failed to mention, a few of the managers turned down the raises and some took a pay cut. Some even worked for $1.00 a year. Either way, at the end of the day the taxpayers are flipping the bill for it. &
Not sure you can blame Management more than the Unions. Look what happened at Hostess recently. Instead of taking the business off shore, the were forced to close. The Union workers demanded raises to the point that Hostess could no longer afford to pay the wages. Sad thing is, now as taxpayers, we have to foot the bill </spa

Philly, I aggree. Since it's a 3.5" drive in the picture, the original external drive required a seperate power source anyway. A docking station would at least be an alternative means to access the data on the drive.
If your budget allows it, you could pick up one of these to access your data, as long as the drive is still good.
“Take a look at your most recent Internet service bill, and think about the fact that people in Hong Kong can get a 500Mbps symmetric fiber connection for just $25 per month, and tell me you’re happy with the way things are.” – ibid
Not sure you can compare Hong Kong's Internet service to ours. While they may have faster service for less expense, they also have censorship that limits content. The major problem with all of this
