Cool start...I hope that there will be more installments. The suspense is killing me! *begins choking on suspense*

Ok my guess is that eet is actually the scary "50 cents to kill a puppy" girl...This would mean that his love for Yarlen isn't actually gay!

Was anyone else kind of scared by that girl who said she'd do it for 50 cents? Me...I'd do it if you bought me a ferrari...and paid all my college costs. If someone did that the puppy would die!
Sorry about lagging out bovi, I really didn't want to. I got back online but I couldn't rj the game so after awhile I gave up and did other stuff.
Yea basically. There's no blood, no cursing (that I've heard), no nudity, and the violence is restricted to planets and ships and thus only indirectly against humans (and with the Vasari not even directed against humans). Now your average 10 year old probably won't play this game, but I see nothing in it which will "corrupt" them. Edit: One correction, if said 10 year old comes on these forums then they most certainly WILL be corrupted (probably by kosc or Multi).
Can we restrict it to burning high school freshman? If so then I'm all for it!
I don't mind the current culture system (even taking over the cap planet). Its pretty easy to counter (just build a broadcast center and most likely your planet will be fine...or at the very least fine enough to blow the enemies broadcast centers up). I have no problem with a strategy thats wins you the game if your enemy doesn't take basic precautions. Forgive me for not feeling sympathy for those who have lost to culture.
First, it was one of these first, if not the first, (and certainly the best) RTS with radically different factions. Terran Marines did not have a straight analog with the Protoss and Zerg (very few units in SC did, with the exception of the Devourer/Corsair/Valkeree group with still had significant differences between the units). For another thing, its campaign had a solid, compelling story with characters that were easy to connect with. In addition, the balance between the races was perfect. If
Personally I don't see much need to include construction ships in the brackets around the planets (unless you include them on the bottom one maybe just so its easy to tell how many a planet has). I never click on a construction ship before building, clicking the planet is easier (it is bigger). I get a little annoyed when I click the friendly ships bracket and zoom in to position my fleet in the grav well...and the construction ships follow them (not in jumps though which is good). The problems
Well your probably right Seabass. SC2 will probably be a pretty good game...but it doesn't look like its going to be as innovative and cool as SC was. So it'll always live in the shadow of its predecessor. However, any SC player who went through the campaign will be forced to play this game because we have to find out what will happen to Zeratul? WTF is up with Duran? Will Kerrigan and Raynor ever screw each other like they were so close to doing in the first part of SC1? I must know!
I accept your offering of popcorn. For your next sacrifice to me I demand you slay a virgin. Just pick anyone on these forums, they're all geeks and virgins...except Multi.
*stones Ron for apostasy*
Uh, yeah. They travelled through space and set up their lives on an ice planet, destroyed all their tech and have been cursing their stupidity for forgetting to bring the guy who knows how to make communication devices .
Yes. The Flying Spaghetti Monster reached out with his noodly appendages and smote the communications experts. But you might be surprised how often in sci-fi new colonies lose technology
Starcraft 2 probably won't have that zoom (or scale)...will you buy it? P.S.: Watch your next words or you may be stoned for apostasy.
Because the administration allows them to build the infrastructure needed to actually pick up the culture broadcasts. You can't be affected by TV broadcasts if you don't have a TV.
Gets out his popcorn
POPCORN?! I hope you brought enough for everyone young man (or woman...or whatever I don't really know). If you didn't you are going to detention...IN HELL! *pulls out shotgun*
Can do! See you guys Sunday?
I agree with P5yy. The current system does not require a significant amount of micromanagement IMHOP. I mean, when you have the money (which the upgrades aren't too terribly exspensive) it takes all of two clicks to upgrade the planet (one to click on the planet, one to click the upgrade). Even in the really large games I've played I normally don't have to deal with upgrading more than two or three planets at a time to get rid of the penalty (and by that point I normally have more money
he does love his makeup, doesnt he?
And his male co-stars.
I forgive you for being Dutch erjee...it can happen to the best of us.
Indeed this is an annoying issue and I can't wait for the patch.
Hmmmm... a crazy barber out for revenge begins killing people and it has Johny Depp, I am intrigued.
Having just started playing this gaem, I have noticed some significant differences when playing TEC and Vasari. I'll grant you that the differences could be greater, but especially late game, the two races really come into their own. I have learned the ways of the phase gate and I LOVE it! Here's a thought though, since culture spreads across phase lines, why not have direct cultural spread between two planets with phase gates? Instead of having a planet 4 jumps away from a world with a broadcas
We found a thread reviver, may we burn her (or him or it)?
