Dark Avatar in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

I recently purchased the collectors edition of GalCiv II. Now I went to various sites and looked for the Dark Avatar expansion, but it only seems to be available in the 'Gold' bundle. 45 Euros for Dark Avatar is a bit much, especially since I already OWN the original GalCiv II. Is there any shop that still sells the expansion by itself?

I'm experiencing the same problem with the German version (Dread Lords). I hope there will be another patch for this version, it feels like missing out on quite a lot. And permamently setting the computer to USA is not really a solution.
