sorry, never heard of that site.

cool. i really need to take some time and check out the design tools.
ironclad should build broadcast centers to spread the culture of SINS.
for the offline player, there are also the achievements in game. lan games are good good fun times.
entrenchment is built into Diplomacy. you cannot play diplomancy without it.
also remember to upgrade your planets. if you expand too much and the planets arent upgraded, you will have income troubles down the road.
the latest patches are no longer available as downloads from the web. you must install Impulse to pull in the patches. http://www.impulsedriven.com/download install impulse. register your copy of sins, and it will then detect the updates.
the tutorial in game is very good. pretty much everyone started there in the old days.
interesting. thanks for moving on a change. i played over the weekend to see what the fuss has been about. every thing was going fairly well until i missed a couple of bumps on the pirate bounty. next thing i know the pirates had wiped out a well defended planet plus my entire fleet. each ship in their fleet had the stats of a mini capital ship. it took maybe 30 minutes of fleet building and rallying to reposition my self to retake the planet. intel
what the?
the majority of the games i play are single player. note there is not a campaign but it still has high reply value. you should give the game a shot. the demo is available on impulse. i havent got into diplomacy much yet, but entrenchment is great and the original version is great. lan games are a blast too. note the the title is Sins of a Solar Empire. Here is a link to the base game. You can get the demo here. If you are looking to bu
nice. she oozes the advent creepy-ness or spirit...which ever. [e digicons][/e]
sins is real time. more tactical focus. less concern with ship design and more focus on stream lined game play through out.
entrenchtment is by far the best mod from original sins. [e digicons][/e]
downloaded...installed...playing tonight.
wow this thread has derailed.
competition in the secondary console game market is expanding though. best buy is really starting to push its brand of pre-owned. gamestaq.com is making headway as well. gamestop wont have to be the only choice for much longer. the closest thing i can compare it to, is the old and recently renovated games that show up on vendors like impulse. these games have regular sales and people love to snap them up at discounted prices. that said, i find my self l
ironclad online uses different account credentials. if you are unable to register the product after install, then talk to support. especially if you bought the game via impulse or retail. if you bought it used...then idk.
for expanded information check https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com not sure about the maps, except some might indicate in the description what the layout is. ive had the game for...a long time...idk how long, and i still havent been through all the maps. there are two ways to build custom maps. the in-game builder plus another called galaxy forge (i think). check the link above for all the details, custom
i dont think they have changed multicore support. initial objects are loaded on multiple cores but game processing still handled in a single core. if you see handling on other processing cores its because the os is passing some of the work around.
ya i tried the demo this morning on xbox. kinda interesting. i dont think i will buy it though.
he said - he doesnt want to work with support because they suck and a friend had a similar problem. --- blackevil89 - did you buy from Impulse?
the tutorials make the game easier to understand. try starting there [e digicons][/e]
oh well. at this point id rather see a new game be put out than a third expansion anyway.
if you created a support ticket they will contact you directly. the forum isnt the right place to resolve this problem. [e digicons]|-)[/e]
