First thing I would say is to go to SystemProperties>Advanced>PerformanceSettings>Visual Effects and make sure 'Use a background image for each folder type' is selected If I remember correctly those files have to be saved as an 'Indexed' color .bmp. to show also;) Can't wait too see your new skin Ingui

What would be the best way to handle this? I have been putting off Re-Coloring a skin of mine, BP-XPG...A lot of users wanted a 'Blue' version...of course Several of my .psd files were overwritten, so doing all the masks for 'Custom Color' is not going to work for me. Not sure about 2000 but on XP... RightClick on Desktop>Properties>Desktop>CustomizeDesktop>Web Tab...Make sure the box that says 'Lock Items on Desktop' is not selected. If I have that selected on my Desktop the 'Text Background' shows on all the Icons.

Why does it matter what everyone else uses. All that matters is what you use and if you are happy with what you use. I use Linux and am happy with it. It doesn't matter if my preference remains in the minority.

Oh boy...If this ever comes to fruition...You can bet PC sales will slow They better gimme the option to turn it off...hehe
