Wizaerd, This may answer your question since I failed to. https://forums.elementalgame.com/403882 It was just posted. -.-

You know....even though I qualify for one free expansion, I feel compelled to pay for it anyway. [e digicons][/e] You guys are awesome. Thanks for the update. -.-
Yeah, I've been eying this game for a few weeks now. I'm really thinking about jumping on it. [e digicons][/e]
I'm a bit confused as to why this is going to be a stand alone expansion. So if I wanted to play a vanillla game of Elemental, I'll have to load up Elemental, but if I want to play the expansion, I have to start it up. SO in a sense I'll have two Elemental games, or will the expansion somehow register itself in Elemental so I only have to start up one to play both? Or will the Expansion feature all the same things from Vanilla,
Yeah because everyone in here has never said anything bad about a former employer. And you would be laughed out of court if you filed a civil suit versus an ex-employee you didn't have a contract with, thats the entire point of contracts. And since we don;t know what happened with Civ or with the conversation between Brad and Jon that lead to a decision to hire were not beating a dead horse were running around like chickens with our heads
Quoting kapeman, reply 4 Quoting Glowing_Ember, reply 3 You can use the spells to raise land to make an outpost to increase your trade revenue in your major cities through caravans. This makes gold easy to get when you want it. What do you mean by this? Create a city, build it's maximum allotment of caravans, and send them to your gold-producing cities. Each of them g
Any word on 1.2?
Yeah, it is 'next'. -.-
zomgzomgzomg [e digicons][/e]
Jam3 is just making a whole lot of assumptions about something he knows nothing about....which is not reflective of any nationality. Even with Mr Shafer's recent informative comment, he still continues to dish out the jabs...lol. Poor guy. If I could get him a Happy Meal (tm), I would. -.-
The staff actually posts here. What an amazing difference that makes. After Soren's wonderful respones from the Civ Fans I'm surprised 2kGames or Firaxis decided to hit the "mute" button on everyone. And of course the ironic contrast is that in fact, I'd daresay it's quite pleasant here! Cheerio!
So that this doesn't become an ongoing distraction... As part of a public company, 2K has a policy where only certain individuals are permitted to talk about the company and its games in public. The only exceptions to this are for special events, like trade show interviews. Everyone employed by 2K is beholden to this policy, and it does not expire after someone departs the company, regardless of the circumstances. Some people d
I would bet he isn't you really think they want to payout a second salary just to keep an ex-employee from airing grievances? Activision canned two of the largest names in the industry cause they didn't want to pay them bonuses (albeit rather large ones). That mentality is like 10 years old, companies don't just sign contracts with people who don't work for them to "keep quiet". And even if they did its probably not for very long.
&nb
So should the title be renamed to Sid Meier's Elemental: War on Magic now?
What? Sid is owned by Firaxis,.... and Civ V should be renamed "Steam's Sid V". Elemental is a gold mine and Sid belongs no where near it. Besides, he is too busy promoting the Facebook civ app in hopes of recruiting new blood. Poor guy. Really. I do feel bad for him. -.-
How do u generate a debug/error report? I just crashed myself... [e digicons]X|[/e]
It seems to me that Shafer really had his hands tied and that the direction of Civ V had already been laid out by the Big Suits who paid him to not disobey. That's what I got out of his Gamasutra interview anyway. I am certain he was wary of the outcome long before Civ V got released. I am certain he would have lost his job if he DID "signal out"
Hey. Thanks for the info. I run firefox too so that should work out great. I'll give it a go. [e digicons]:D[/e]
Regarding Windows Movie Maker, does that allow youtube downloads? -.-
I was just on Microsoft website. The MSE is described as an "antivirus" program, not "security suite". Maybe I'm placing too much emphasis on one term versus the other ... or maybe there really is no difference? [e digicons]:'([/e] I don't know. But I'm going to recommend this MSE to a friend who has a laptop without any AV/ISS installed. Her daughter kee

Jon Shafer - We had a combat programmer doing combat AI, and a programmer doing the AI for the workers and explorers, but I program
I agree with you dopey. Firaxis/2k has turned the civ-fans world upside down and are now very upset with Shafer because of it. Criticism from the hateful civ fans has been harsh from what I've seen, but I just hope Shafer will be able to keep his head up high and ignore the unwarranted jabs. -.-
Quoting Domicron, reply 88Civ5 is a poorly designed game. End of story. There's no argument to be had. Hopefully Shafer learned something from the experience. He's a young guy and I'm hoping he did and attributing his silence here to an NDA he probably had to sign on his way out of Firaxis. anyways peace out stardock I'll be on my merry way GOOD LUCK JONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Steam owns Sid...well, with Civ V they do. lol Anyway, did anyone here read Mr Shafer's interview at gamasutra? I thought it was pretty telling about how frustrated he got while working on V with Firaxis. "Do with what you've got.." I say, Mr Shafer didn't
