Right now, I'm using Windows Defragger...until I find a good one. Wasted money on the Norton's system (I forget the title had the whole shpeel) and all it did is cause major problems. So Windows Defrag until better comes a long.

Beninati, Have you done things like ScanDisk, and Defrag? I know if I don't run my maintenance programs regularly, my computer gets real slow, and freezes. Then I do my maintenance programs, and it's fine. What about system restore feature? Set it back to the date it last worked well? That helped me once. However, wiping the system will definitely get rid of the program, and speed it up, but just be sure to back everything up (if you can) so you save on download time w

I would imagine it could be done if you have a program for making your own screensavers? Screen capture wouldn't work if you're trying to get an animated wall, would it? (And yes, that would suck the life out of the memory.)
