I have cable but according to those determing sites of bandwidth I can go as fast as a T1...and I never go to DA, even with my speeds, I can't bear how slow it is.

Ok I moved up one size..... Now what is the trick to make the tables on my site configure with all size resolutions.....?
K you hold my hand and I will!
Jam! Todd Rundgren- something/anythng....Jethro Tull!! I swear its like you have my music collection!
Earth, stream and tree encircled by sea Waves sweep the sand from my island. My sunsets fade. Field and glade wait only for rain Grain after grain love erodes my High weathered walls which fend off the tide Cradle the wind to my island....... ......Touch my island, Touch me. by King Crimson
From someone that doesn't know any better, can you tell me the advantages of the additional room? Isn't everything teeny tiny?
Jam It occurs to me that people here are really going to think me nuts when I say I have a 19 inch and I STILL use 800 x 600 (hehe) Boy am I a hard sell!
I have a feeling that soon the stats will change or even out with higher resolutions soon, then I will too. I do need to give in to the majority at this time, though. I wouldn't call it vindication, I suppose its just paying attention to who the majority of the visitors are. Your suggestion in the other post, made me take a look though, and be certain. That is always a good thing!
atats = stats! (sorry!)
Hell Dragon Those figures are close to my own atats, and I am not suprised. I do appreciate this link supporting the resolution I make my pages at! I make them for the majority, and when that changes, I will change too.
Hiiiiiiiiiii K ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I am feeling pressure now to change my ways, hehe Seriously though K, my visitors are not as sophisticated as here. I recently looked into it and most (51%) still use 800 x 600, the next size up was at 35%, and then the rest are dispersed into a lot of other sizes. But I can bet, here, that the majority would not use 800 x 600, they would have your tendencies.
....but Koasati always sends me nice 800 by 600 files.....that is what I use I know I am in the dark ages with the rest of the community of skinners!
Jam I JUST got XP a few weeks ago on my new PC. I had a few adjustments to make learning it, but I like it very much so far!
Here is my reasoning... You belong to a community of savvy computer users, and I am willing to bet that indeed the majority use the settings you say. I am also willing to bet that for the most part that figure I mentioned is likely close to correct, (pertating to my sites) because there is a whole group of people, who use their pc's at factory settings, they are not as knowledgable. The mails I get, asking for help with downloading and installing skins, you would not believ
I wish to thank you for having a peek at my site. I appreciate that. Apparently my stats doesn't allow me the information I wanted on screen size, so I went to another section of the site with that information and apparently, believe it or not the top size was 800 x 600 making up 51% of the users... 1024x768 would make up 35% 1280x1024 totalled 6% The rest were usiing something even larger, or...smaller, hehe I am sure glad though you brought it up, its somethi
If you can call what I do skinning! (hehe) I made feeble attempts at both icq and yahoo! I have been on a cantankerous computer for ages and it has stifled my creativity a great deal. Perhaps with this new one, I will get back into things, including changing my screen size, (hehe) Why are changes like that so hard for people like me? So tentative I am! I should look to my stats to see what is the main size that my visitors use, and make my sites compatible for
I must be one of the last of the few that still likes her desktop at 800 x 600. I am always tons behind what everyone else is doing in the computer world. But I accept your suggestion, in the spirit it was given. I really need to get on with the times. I just got a new puter though, the old one, I wasn't very brave to make a lot of changes. Nice to keep you company!
I assumed so, judging by what you mentioned you listened to. I am north of Baltimore in Harford County. Enjoy the sampler. I think we took over this forum topic (hehe)
I happen to possess a lot of old Genesis too, hehe. Are you in PA? If so I am in Maryland, we're practically neighbors!
Jam.... I don't do this for everyone! (hehe) I just made a page on my website (www.xerraire.com) with a Camel sampler >> http://www.xerraire.com/music/camel.htm Enjoy!
Camel's website can be found here >> http://www.camelproductions.com Some of their songs I like are: Lady Fantasy, Moonmadness, Ice...only to name a few!
I have quite a few by Camel. I am not familiar with the move, although I love ELO's Eldorado Album. Maybe I do know the Move but none of their songs are coming to me.
Are you also familiar with the music of Camel? They are even lesser known around here than King Crimson. Also excellent music.
JamMeister33, King Crimson's softer music appeals to me more, for example their Prelude: Song of the Gulls, to me is genious, but I love everything they do....Islands is my all time favorite, Ladies of the Road is a hot song too. Nice to "meet" another King Crimson fan!
