Planetary Scanning in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

Reading through the journals, I came across BoogieBac's best of best for the week. One thing that was mentioned was the different scanning techs that would be available. Now while there was a scanning tech available in GC1, Ican't think of any game where I acutally used it, especially since the AI knew where all the Class 15+ worlds existed. UT2k4. This is going to be one hell of a game. The GTA series is fun, but I've generally waited to the price drops before I picked those up. (just finished up GTA:VC). I won't preorder though, I find places like Best Buy always drop the price $10-15 dollars for most games the week it's released which drops it down to your ~$40 or the price you pay through pre-ordering. But there's generally no waiting for me.

My wife worked until we had kids. We both agreed that she'd stay home with them when the time came. She loves it. To say it isn't a real job is foolish. We are making more money with her staying home with the kids than if she went back to work teaching. After taking into account childcare, we would be making a few thousand more dollars a year. Is it worth a few thousand dollars to have my wife stay home with the kids? Damn right it is.

Ok, after actually READING the linked article, I don't necessarily agree with everything Slate says. For instance, Slate mentions that Trump totally disregards the woman advisor. To be fair, he ignores her just as much as he ingores the male advisor. There is no doubt the woman have the advantage in terms of using thier sexuality and it has hurt the men's chances. It will be interesting to see exactly how Trump will set up trials in the future that minimize the impact of sexuality.
