The split to 9 units is a typo. Only splits to 5 units - but still very cool.

I love the Crow Demons personally. 4 Movement and Flight. Perfect scouts.
Thanks for the tips. It's too late for this series but I always learn a lot from the comments. (I only end up corrupting one shard in this whole series and that was more of an experiment to see what the Cyndrum Demons were like). Here's episode 5...
If you're a new player I'd strongly suggest you play the first few games as Tarth (Lady Irane) because the monsters won't target your units. Then once you get used to the game pacing try some of the other factions.
enoeraew37 , now that is good information. :) Thanks. I've already finished this series now (just need to upload all the episodes) but I do plan on making another soon.
Thanks for the reply Derek, As regards the city micromanagement in my Let's Play on Elemental I get to a point where every turn I need to scroll through the city list to find potential sleeping cities. It will be a while before I upload these particular episodes but it became quite annoying. Have an option (default off would be fine) to flag these cities would help enormously with the micromanagement. We have it with research so I would have thought cities would be a similar mecha
Thanks for the comments. The funny thing is I tend to play more carefully when I do a Let's play and I actually enjoy these games more. :) Here's episode 4...
This is the last in the Getting Started series and looks at Tactical Battles. I hope these help newer or struggling players come to grips with some of the game mechanics and make the game more enjoyable. :)
I've written about these before but there remain for me three glaring issues with Fallen Enchantress that either add micromanagement unnecessarily or are just plain annoying: 1. Option to show popup when a city goes to sleep. By the time the mid game rolls around your city list in the HUD has scrolled off the screen. It is annoying enough needing to look to the left of the screen each and every turn before you click t
Episode 9 looks at designing units. It covers the important considerations of matching your resources to your design and checking the statistics to ensure the unit will be effective.
I'm playing a Let's Play using Oracle Ceresa - making use of the various demons. It explains what to avoid and what to jump on. It may help you as it is the same race... https://forums.elementalgame.com/435283
Thanks for your comments. :) I tend to record a heap in one or two sittings and then start processing them afterwards but uploading takes quite a while so I only upload about one a day. Here's episode 2 and 3...
Thanks for the comments. :) This episode just looks at the levelling up of Champions.
Hi all, Just started a new 'Let's Play' style video series of Fallen Enchantress. In this series we'll be playing as Oracle Ceresa. I haven't played much as Ceresa in the past but wanted to show the really cool demons and uniqueness of the Resoln faction. Hope you enjoy... Playlist is here Episode 1 is
Episode 7 looks at unit stats and cover the important game concepts of Initiative and Experience...
Episode 6 looks at the strategic choices of the Research Trees...
I use BandiCam but it isn't free. CamStudio is really only any good for Windows applications. It really struggles with games.
Episode 5 goes through city management in some detail...
Thanks :) Here's Episode 4 which covers starting locations, the initial build queue, city spells, and recruiting the first champion.
This episode finishes off the other menu items and has a closer look at the Faction Editor...
Thanks for your comments :) This next video covers the choices of the starting factions and looks at the importance of matching your play style to the faction characteristics.
Hi folks, Well, with the launch of FE I've been itching to make another series. I'll probably make a couple of series over the coming weeks - one designed to help new players and then just a standard 'Let's Play' style series. But this first series will go slowly through the various game mechanics. The Playlist will be here... <a href="http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLGB6RkFB7ZmMg-PjUc-wSucSj0UMI2Ahm" target="_
I've cleared my current videos (got a couple more illustration videos for the next couple of days) then straight into FE. Really looking forward to playing the release version.
I don't know about the rest of you but I've got a really good vibe about what Fallen Enchantress represents and how it will be received (knocking on wood so I don't put the moz on the project). The devs are probably feeling a little gun-shy after the release of War of magic but I feel the whole approach this time has been well structured and above all - realistic. You can see there has been a lot of uncompromising heart and soul put into the development of Fallen Enchantre
There should be a pop-up (like with research) when a city first stops building. And there should also be an option in the build queue for 'merchanise' or some such place-holder that allows you to produce a little gold each turn.
