Hi, I have a prodject I'm working on that has an object hidden by virtue of being a child object.And it shows via script,executed though another object say a button.I need to give focas to the first object.I have had no luck.Any help would be apreciated. Thanks Jingles

I don't have corel.But have had similar problems with paint shop pro. I'm no Pro but this is what I do .Defragment then,{If one of the programs is not installed before starting I Re-install it to make sure all is removed from the registry.} 1-shut down anivirus and it's components. 2-remove the programs 3-reboot 4-re-install 5-Turn on antivirus if antivirus does not go off or restarts itself <

I don't Know of a complete theme but there's a lot of parts I've collected here.There's Bootscreens wallpapers and logons.and an sg1 blue dx pack.keep lookin.

sorry it's so late a responce.i hope you've figured it out already.It's not dx3,It's that the widjet's and object's your loading are not complete.they were made by people who didn't assign names to their object's or widjet's.Because your expected to give them names so they won't conflict with your stuff. unfortunately you've got corupted objects now. So delete them redownload new one's and name them as you load them useing desktop navigator or right click them with dx builder running then name

I use it every day, also.I like Window blinds and all for the look of windows. But I'm running 9 diferrent dx desktops [like Martins and Boxxi's vector 4, also] for diferent reasons so I can access my programs documents and libraries in different ways for different uses. I've saved all my desktops the way I like them and access them through icons [or objects ] I've made to jump between tops. It works for me and and the diferances between them

P.S. I forgot to mention,If you save, say an object,I usually delete the object original from my desktop then load the saved version and then save my desktop and then reduce to running mode and then shutdown so it will reload as a saved desktop.Not a desktop I'm working on. jingles

Hi, I have gotten errors like that,loading themes, or desktops that are designed to link to online situations,[like weather checkers].I usually take a chance and tell it to load anyway. because the person who wrote it,had it working for them. If thats the issue though,if you load the desktop while your online you shouldn't receive an error. good luck jingles

Hi,I've used norton and macafee.Both work fine for me.I've had simalar problems with my system.Although my system works fine running dx3,with dx2 versions,I Had to save all inprocess work sometimes and shut it down in running mode, Not In development mode or I would have occasional problems.Mostly depending on what I was doing when I shut it down. every time I had a problem like that, It involved removeing the offending program and renameing remaining folders to old---- ,and then re-installing the software. the manufacturer usually has a page or recomondation on which folders to rename.

I DON'T KNOW HOW YOU WENT ABOUT IT.BUT MY MOST SUCCESSFUL WAY OF UPDATEING DESKTOP X IS ARCHIVE THEN UNLOAD THEN RESTART WINDOWS THEN UPDATE AND LOAD FOR A CLEAN INSTALL. THEN I USUALLY DON'T HAVE ANY PROBLEMS. IF YOU UPDATE IT WHILE IT'S RUNNING YOU CAN GET GLITCHES OF SORTS.THATS ME . GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!

HAVE YOU TRIED,TOOLS IN INTERNET EXPLORER THEN DELETE TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES.AND HAVE YOU INCREASED YOUR INTERNET CACHE SIZE,AND DECREASED THE AMOUNT OF TIME YOU HOLD ONTO TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES. IT MAY HELP,I'M NOT POSITIVE,BUT,IT WON'T HURT.GOOD LUCK
