I'm using the latest registered version of WB 6 on XP SP2 and lately when I change skins I get a memory exception error in Winlogon.exe which forces the system to reboot (the skins do apply properly). When I first upgraded from WB 5 to WB 6 this didn't happen, but it's not clear what has changed. I ran Check Disk (with sector recovery), Disk Cleanup and Defrag - no joy. The system is generally stable apart from this. I use PC Tools Firewall Plus v3, AVG AV, Spyware Ter

Ah, I get it! By turning OFF mouseover activation I can go up to the tab of my choice and it doesn't move until I click on it. My thanks to everyone for helping me figure this out. And have a happy Thanksgiving too .
Thanks for the replies. Unfortunately, I can't find the option to have the mouseover action activate the tab. I'm using the latest version of Object Dock Plus and I'm not even seeing a Misc Options category. Please try again.
OK, a little more hunting around and I found the Misc Options and the "automatically activate mouseover tab" option. Thanks for the help. I still like my idea of having the dock not move until I click the tab, but this is pretty close .

I have a tabbed dock at the top of my screen and I'd like to suggest an optional behavior. As is, when I move the mouse pointer up to the tabs the dock slides down and if the tab I want is not active I have to move the pointer back down to click on it. This is a small movement, but over time this has come to feel like I'm alway chasing the tabs. What I would prefer is for the dock to not slide down until after I click on a tab. That way the tabs are no

Hello! I recently started using PSP Photo X2 and discovered that WB6 cannot skin it. The window frame (with min/max/close buttons) becomes invisible, though I can still grab and move it with the mouse. For now I've excluded it from WB6 so it runs with the Classic skin, but it's not very appealing. Any chance this can be fixed?

It would be nice if there was a separate section for WindowBlinds skins that are designed to be used with Vista, or at least a "compatible with Vista" check-box that skinners can check/un-check when they upload. Often skins developed for XP are not compatible and the skinners do not always mention whether their skins work properly with Vista.

After some experimentation I conclude that resizing desktop icons in Vista works with some icon packages and not others, though I can't say why. Treetog mentions adding Vista support to his "Artwork" icon package, so apparently packages need tweaking in some cases.

Thanks for the replies. I tried holding down the key and scrolling the mouse wheel, but this has inconsistent results. One set of icons (Artwork) will scale all the way up to 256x256, but a number of other sets will not get larger than 48x48. What's weird is I can view these icon sets in the Icon Packager Explorer and confirm that they contain larger sizes, but they won't display on the desktop. When I scroll the mouse wheel the outlines around the desktop icons show larger and

I have IconPackager installed on Vista Business and generally it works OK, but I can't figure out how to display icons larger than 48x48 on the desktop. I believe it can be done (I've seen screenshots), but I must be missing something. The icon packs I'm using can display up to 128x128. Any help appreciated!
