Likewise, I'm seeing the problem again too.

That's very possible. The site's been extremely slow recently, even when it was running.
Anybody know what's up with ThemeXP's site over the past few days? The entire domain's unreachable from here. Their domain reg is intact, so . . any ideas?
Frogboy, here's what I think: If a site provides a "home base"/showcase for content that would otherwise require dozens of "stops" on the web, that's a good thing. If it also happens to be a site that serves as a sort of support channel for users, that's even better. But, in my opinion, such sites rely heavily (or they certainly should be thinking about it) on "brand loyalty". The primary reason I am here, and support WinCustomize/Stardock is because of the support *I* get. That is to say, t

It's a great release. Too bad it doesn't skin properly though. PR1 and earlier Mozilla releases worked fine, but now, copy/paste (from URL) and the subject and URL fields are flaky when 7.0 final is skinned. Try entering a subject in a new message. Or, start NS in mail/news mode first, then launch the browser and try editing the URL. Sometimes it works, but most times it doesn't. Apparently the view on the Stardock newsgroups is that it's a Mozilla issue (which I agree, it sure seems to be). The
>Did you recently install Windows XP on a machine? No, but I remember when I did. >Did you try to experience a website with Java applets? Yes. >Did you try to expect IE to download automatically the MS Virtual machine? No, because I had been reading for some time before installing that MS wasn't providing virtual machine as part of the install.
The .99d_enh download still (previously reported this with .99c) indicates .99b in the "about" dialog. In fact, the executable file date after installation is dated 8/23. I have deleted the previous executable before installing. As for the registration expiration issue, the instructions here fixed it. Thanks!
Edwin . . you rule! Thanks! I was expecting it might require a WB skin tweak, but this is the best solution.
I don't want to hide the user from any login, or administrative function, I just want to "blank out" the username from the top of the XP start panel. More often than not, with most skins, the font/positioning is awful. Thanks!
Just grabbed it. Thanks!
Ah ha! Got it! You need to use a shortcut to place the background image, and vwm commands for the "innards". YES!
Regardless of the particular module (though in this case, I'm dealing with ckvwm), how the $%#! do you specify a size for the actual virtual machine window *within* the background. I've got background images, sel and win images, but they all seem to occupy the entire space of the background image. Thanks for whatever help anyone can provide.
Ah,... it's okay. I think the biggest problem I have with it is that WinAmp 2.x was so good, it's hard to beat. If I want all the bells and whistles with a media library, video, etc, I use Media Jukebox. WinAmp has always been the "other" audio app I used when I just wanted quick access to some tunes. Now, it's grown, but I'm not sure it's better. I look at it the way I look at ACDSEE. I still use their 2.x version, because it was the best for quick image browsing. Their 4.x version has grown in
ROTFL!! Thanks! Who thought to do it the easy way?
The path to the UIS doesn't seem to work, but I'm sure I'm missing something obvious. Is it "safe" to specify a WB skin with WB already loaded? Thanks!

>try LSWeather instead. the latest version (5.02) should work. Thanks. I'm off to check it out. >or open a window to look outside Please, that's out of the question.
I grabbed psyWavBang, and that works perfectly! Thanks for the excellent link/suggestion.
Thanks! Now, having removed a weather plugin, and replaced it with lsmail (I'm feelin pretty good about that!), I am trying to see if there's a !bang to play a wav. I imagine there is, just haven't found what it is yet.
I've managed to get the right URL's into weatherdesk, so my pop-up data is pretty good, but the disply temps never seem to update. Is there something I'm missing? Using .56 weatherdesk. Thanks!
I'm starting to feel pretty good with LS now, BTW. Last night, I tweaked GalCiv, and ended up making a larger tray.png, background for it, and and a few other things to accomodate more icons in the tray. It's looking good!
Dedalus *must* be a good match - I'm using it too. Thanks!
I'm using the Rhodium Edge LS theme, but I could swear that I saw, and maybe even had a Rhodium Edge WB skin at one time. Maybe something very similar? Thanks
Great, thanks again. That's what I've been doing, but didn't know why it happened . . until now. That's easy enough. BTW, I spent quite a bit of time tweaking BlackSteel RMX last night, and it looks great, and works well. Nice theme! I think I just want to eliminate the zoomer, but otherwise now, it's another of my few "almost totally working the way I want them to" themes. <img src="http://images.stardoc
