no go. is ee some image place holders and a tiny bit of text

ditto - ya got image links pointing to your hard disk...But, even so it's clear that the graphics won't scale to any window size....they don't even fit on 1024x768 width widows by a long way.

If you want to get rid of your own user picture in WindowBlinds, you need to do it through Configure WindowBlinds...>User Overrides. Under Advanced Settings, disable Show user icon in startpanel(if not domain).

If you want to try to prevent other skin users from having a user picture, you need to adjust content margins for the User Pane (a negative value for Left margin) until the user picture disappears.

To adjust the location of the Username text, you can use the Text Alignment settings in combination with the Content margin adjustments for the User Pane (Find these setting by clicking User Pane under StartPanel in the left tree pane of Skin Studio, and then looking for them in the right attributes pane in Skin Studio.

The font settings can also be adjusted in part in this same area under Text Settings>Font Normal. The constraint is Font#, referring to Preset Fonts you define, found under Miscellaneous>Presets>Font Presets in the left tree pane of skin studio.

RE: site - may I suggest that you don't "...make the site in 1024 ..." but that you make it to scale to suit any window size? Break the graphic up into bits (just like a window frame in WB), and use a table with fixed size cells for the graphics, and scalable cells with solid colour (or tiled backgrounds) for the "stretchable" bits.

This will also have the advantage that you won't need to crank up the compression as much to make the page load quickly, hence avoiding the jpg artifacts the graphics exhibit at the moment.

...of course, this would be much easier if you have good tools for the job such as Fireworks, DreamWeaver or ImageReady for example.

as an example of scalable web design, here's one I've taken inspiration from in the past:

http://www.ulst.ac.uk

It's aim is very different to your's, but look at the title banner for the technique I'm refering to. (BTW, ignore the first page as someone seems to have broken the scalability on the main bit of that one page!)

I am far from an expert so I cannot get very technical with you. I like the way it presents except I am at 1280 x 1024 res and the page displays at 1/4 the screen. I hope you know how to fix cause I don't. Just thought I would let you know.
Me no expert either.....is small, I'm using 1280x1024 screen resolution and have my browser set to open up at 1024x768. Some kind of scaleable graphics would be nice so that no matter what resolution some one uses it will still look good. Don't know how to go about doing that thought. I like to colors and the font you used to make your images
