Update: After three reinstallations and lots of fiddling around it finally works! For some reason, Reboot originally wanted to install to E: root (my system drive for XP, Vista is on C:), but finally it installed over the existing installation of SR2.

Well, it didn't work. I made a fresh install of SR2 direct from the DVD. After downloading Reboot, it promptly announced that it could not find an installation of SR2. It gave an option to continue anyway, which resulted to the following message: "RANGERS.EXE - Unable To Locate Component This application has failed to start because DebugMsg.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix the problem." Looks like I have to buy SR2 on Impulse as well. Ed
Does the expansion work with European DVD release?
So what happens if you apply this patch to the 1.3 English non-Stardock version? What are the new features and fixes you get? Is it worth it or do you witness a lot of Russian text in the game? I tried to install the Russian patch over the UK version (published by Excalibur) and the game refused to launch, probably because UK and Russian discs are nothing alike.
