The heck? I just rebooted again because I would be away for a while anyway. Then I tried it again and unlike the first time the letters show up! Thank you. Maybe I should have tried rebooting sooner even though I already tried it. Do you know what the cause might be? If you don't know, just let this topic die in favour of someone else that might need help! Thank you! sole soul!

Purchased the ultimate edition on steam in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

As you can see (if the link works) I only have white tabs. At first I could see them just fine. But when I wanted to experiment with using some cheats if messed up. So I deleted everything and re-downloaded and installed it again. Only as you can see it didn't help at all. I tried rebooting steam and rebooting my computer just to see if that would make a difference. I checked the other tabs, like options and such and as you can see the text doesn't show up there either. <

i played a gigantic map a few times, man and its actualy a bit big for me so i use a bit smaller galaxies, but 3.4 gig memorie? i only have 512 thats a bit much dont you think not everybody has such a monster pc

zakdog your talking nonsense the fact that you have trouble playing the game should tell you something? addware? spyware? viruses? every pc has trouble with these, heck i had to reinstall my computer because it refused to install a game a while ago. the latest patch added and fixed many things and i havent noticed anything that looked like a bug. this atitude of i uninstall the game and come back in fall could prove fatal because some communitys die off in a couple of months time,

and what about the tutorials? just watch/listen to them and you should get all the stuff you need, you can even find the tutorials (sound only) in the folders not sure where but i'm sure its there

hm i have some basic knowlegde but what you are proposing.. it sound great but i dont think we are able to do this, i think it only could come in a patch, i never saw something in the data files of politic or anything similar.. ithink this is something hardcoded what means we cant get to it, but this is only my humbly opinion

why not give more unexplored planets a light defense force? not much just enough so you cant just send out a explo but first has to have the right research to be able to build some light assault vessels

well i think the increase of hp should be increased when your waiting in space, i had situations that i had several ships that had several battles behind them and my terrotiry is at least 6 turns away, that it indeed takes long before the ship is fully repaired. look at star trek voyager, that ship was several times damaged until it barely could fly but they where able to repair it pretty quik. main line, if you compare it a ship that is heavely damaged should take a max of 5 turns to repair in
