I had quite a pleasant time outside, watching them unroll their big hoses and run around in their bunkers. The best part, though, was when they got done and had to roll the hoses back up, because they took off their bunker shirts and were working in pants, suspenders and T-shirts. Very nice.. Oh honey!

I liked Cien Anos de Soledad (100 yrs. of solitude), but in Spanish. The Brothers Karamazov - Fyodor Dostoevsky was actually pretty good. BTW: "God" wasn't in the original pledge of allegience. They added that sometime around the 1950's or so to promote union of the country. I don't have exact anything. I found it on the back of an old Smithsonian magazine in art class.
