Agreed. Also, why can't we open the skill screen to ease all the wait ?
Open/Close: "Close" provides extra armor, but "Open" provides nothing. I think there should be a trade off between forms besides abilities.
I agree, there's something wrong here. We've got 2 stances with 2 types of spells, "close" give us defensive spells and "open" give us offensive spells. I don't understand why "open" shouldn't give us more firepower, the result is that if you have a super minion build you don't have to change form. Giving the "open" stance more love
I feel there's something wrong with defense and jump inhibitor too. An ennemy fleet shouldn't cross a choke point with lots of turrets and a correct defensive fleet and quietly walk in my deeper territories. What am I supposed to defend the most ? We should have the tools to defend strategic point and the attacker should take a risk to invade an ennemy territory. At least we need ways to trap him. Also, why not add a powerfull but costly jump interdictor building that would close a phas
I think maybe the best solution would be to just merge command groups into fleets.
I agree.
Very fun game to watch. I've learned a lot with this game, thanks for the replay ;)
Thanks for your answer. There's no hot-keys to go directly to the the fleet logictics screen or the black market screen Instead of going to the black market screen, press F5 to sell metal, ctrl-F5 to buy it. F6 to sell crystal, ctrl-F6 to buy it. Check ou
You can remap hot-keys to avoid some of those clicks to open those pesky screens. That might save you some time and a few clicks anyway. :/
Thanks for your answer. There's no hot-keys to go directly to the the fleet logictics screen or the black market screen :(
One or two thousands less clicks per game wouldn't hurt: - An entire screen in the research menu for fleet logitics isn't necessary. Why not add 2 little buttons (next to the fleet/capital available numbers) to upgrade your fleet and your capital supply ? - Make the black market screen directly accessible via a button on the main UI. - When you select a ship, all the "tactics managment" features (retreat, create fleet, etc) should be directly available (with all the ca
Ok after 5mn playing my first gripe: what I expected with auto pilot lines was being able to see lines from EVERY ships, I don't want to be forced to select a ship to see his destination. Also I don't see them very well. Fantastic work stardock though.
OMG auto pilot lines will change my life, thanks ! About anomalies, it would be really COOL to let us choose how to use them: for example showing them to your people as a trophee to increase their morale (such discoveries make people dream) or using them as a scientific purpose to boost research, etc. Add to that the "come and go" feature of Jeda and you can have some really interesting gameplay. Keep the good work guys <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smiles/

great feeling of depth that we have with GC's background in 3D doesn't seem to be easy either. Hope this "parallax scrolling" will do the trick.
Yes, nice community we have here ;) I've never heard about Galactic Civilization until now but I can tell you that I won't make the same mistake with the sequel :) I just hope it will have more previews than his father that really deserved more :sniff!: None of my gamers friends knew about his game, that's a shame :( [Message Edited]
